Real problem is not the griefer here though, it's square enix for being idiotic and not allowing to kick them. Yeah it can be abused, there will never be a perfect system, I still think it's better than this tho.

Main reason I run CM over Prae with DF is because I can expect an average DF group to beat livia sas junius easily; a typical df group can easily wipe to Ultima multiple times.

And that's why no game that I know of has the vote kick on a single person, but generally the majority if not everyone has to be voting yes. Of course it's abusable by 3 man stacks and such, but still less shit than now.

Raid finder in wow I think it requires 4 people out of 25 to initiate the kick and then something like 15+ to vote yes to do it. Rarely you might get kicked for nothing you did but atleast the 99% other times you get the retards out.

But hey, that would make sense and square doesn't want that, probably some jp culture shit or w/e they're spewing to justify it.

Nah last night the BLM pointed out our MNK had afk'd immediately after the CS. BLM apologised and left when after a few mins it was obvious the MNK wasn't just briefly afk. I did the same. People are becoming less tolerant of AFKing already. I won't carry anyone in DF. If a FC group decides to carry their buddy, well fair enough.

Yea I think I saw that somewhere too but like you said it's SE. They are going to come up with some off the wall way to make you kick someone like; They have to not move for a certain period of time prior to kicking them.

Because they have to come up with a system that prevents mob mentality from unjustly kicking someone the rest of the group dislikes. As crappy as it sounds, the alternative to what you said seems to be the WoW vote kick model, which was toxic.
