Nope, they're grandfathering it in, so if any older players weren't wearing it before, they don't have to now if they don't want to. All new players have to have a visor though

Ashton ate a good one from I forget who and then Parros went after Orr who was floating back towards Subban and Orr just decked him. Out cold and face first into the ice and Orr started waving for the training staff immediately.

Orr didn't hit him. Parros slipped and fell face first onto the ice while holding onto Orr who himself had fallen and hit his chin/face

Also Ashton went to the Leafs dressing room. Tinorti got him good and it looked like he was struggling to get up afterwards.

Welp, when 5 of the top 10 players with the highest PIMs last year are playing against each other in the same game, gonna have a ton of fights like this. Always sucks seeing a guy getting hurt though, especially when it was an accident. Orr was really classy about it though, no cheap shots or anything, immediately called for the medical team
