Plus, I think we all have to remember, NYI's starting tender is Nabokov.... That really should be where they are spending assets to improve. They are 6th in the league in 5v5 scoring, and 8th in GF/G. They are 27th in team sv% 24th in GA/G.

So, I'm going to the Pens / Canes game tonight. Pretty excited to see Crosby, Malkin etc. live for the first time. Factoring in that they're looking to rebound from a 3 game losing streak and going to be facing an AHL goalie tonight I expect carnage. "Pittsburgh has won four straight games in which they’ve faced Peters. In those four games the Penguins have scored 20 goals."

I just hope the Canes make it a good game. =/
