Fastest fried coach at the start of a season

Peter Laviolette (0-3-0) - Philadelphie 2013
Denis Savard (1-2-1) - Chicago 2008
Ivan Hlinka (0-4-0) - Pittsburgh 2000
Jacques Demers (0-4-0) - Montréal 1995

He's not the fastest fired... fried coach at the beginning of the season, but he's up there:

1 game into the season for Paul Thompson in 1944-45
2 games into the season for Conn Smythe in 1930-31 (yes, Conn Smythe)
2 games in for Bill Gadsby in 1969-70
3 games in for Fred Glover in 1971-72
And of course Lavvy at 3 games in too

Not that I get to watch West Coast games at all really, but I did watch them vs Van on the weekend and the team looked pretty good. It's got to be SO DEFLATING however, to have Dubnyk in net, seriously, he's on a scale of bad that brings down the rest of the teams morale and makes them play bad because of how bad he is lol. I don't get why you didn't try to get Thomas, or even Bryzgalov, both are better options, Dubnyk is horrible

Because Eakins and Mactarded are huge fanboys of Dub.
It just pisses me off that randomly he'll play amazing, then have games like so far this year where a junky floater shot from her own blueline by Helen Keller will cruise right on in.
As far as back-ups go, we have Jason Labarbra and Stephen King... er Richard Bachman, but not even he could write a horror story bad enough as our team from the blueline in.

Granted, they had a flurry at the end of the period, but meh.
If only they'd do that at the start of a game, completely take a game to another team right away and get them out of it, rather than be down by 2 or more and think "Oh shit, guess we have a game to play, hey?"



then of course if they're up by 2 or 3, it comes back to the Dubnyk comments, so....
