Matt Williams is the new Nats manager.
Will Clark would've been a better option
Can't wait for the comically over sized cane to come out and drag Peavy off the mound.
EDIT: Damn, killed it getting out of that jam. Way to make me look like a jackass. But it's coo

Is the Fox broadcast playing up the #Bostonstrong thing or something? I thankfully don't have Buck and McCarver blabbing in my ear.
Ump ball v 2013
Jeez what a way to end the game.
What the fuck
Fucking bullshit!
Craig cut back towards second, then towards home.... He put himself in that position, so interference my ass.
Also, can we stop trying to throw out runners at 3rd? Cost the sox 2 games now
Does the fact he was inside the baseline matter at all for obstruction? I tried to read the rules but lol MLB rules. http://www.mlb.com/mlb/official_info...s/runner_7.jsp
Doesn't seem like it. He wasn't in the process of making a play on the ball when the obstruction occurred (ball was way past him by that point), and he altered the runner's attempt at going to the next base - that's about all it takes.
They used a example of a catcher blocking the baseline without the ball, saying the runner has a right to the baseline...... However Craig was not in the baseline?
The amount of mad streaming in on my fb is glorious
Devin Mesoraco thinks that's a good obstruction call.

Fucking tears are glorious
."Rule 2.00 (Obstruction) Comment: ... After a fielder has made an attempt to field a ball and missed, he can no longer be in the act of fielding the ball. For example, an infielder dives at a ground ball and the ball passes him and he continues to lie on the ground and delays the progress of the runner, he very likely has obstructed the runner."
