MMORPG raid content cycle:

Step 1: Wipe to raid boss and applaud it's difficulty
Step 2: Wipe more to raid boss and claim it's bugged, broken, etc.
Step 2.5: If actually bugged, resume attempts after fix, repeat step 2
Step 3: Defeat raid boss
Step 4: Read posts from other players that have now defeated raid boss, marvel at how everyone thinks it has magically somehow become trivial, to the point that you can literally walk in naked and slam your penis on the keyboard and still win.
Step 5: Wipe to raid boss next week, break guild/FC due to embarassment

lol clearly you havent raided hardcore in WoW, FFXI was so easy it's not even comparable.

Turn 1-4 coil is as easy as normal mode WOW raids, actually, I'd say Vashj and Kael in TBC were much more difficult than anything in tturn 1-4, and that was 2006. Not a single boss or encounter in FFXI was as 10% as difficult as a normal mode WOW raid, kinda weird people think FFXI was difficult.

Grats again BG, beating turn5 and a world first is still an accomplishment no matter what anyone else thinks.

We do have a lot of cumulative WoW raiding experience, and twisters are very silly compared to mechanics either I myself or others have seen in vanilla, TBC, and Wrath. But they're not bugged in any way, shape, or form -- the intended design is (again, as far as we can tell, because maybe there's a better method than ours) incredibly unforgiving.

Probably around Monday or Tuesday. We're still hashing out the specifics.

We're going to wait until at least one or two more FCs kill it before we explain our understanding of the fight's mechanics in full detail.

The best I know is to use ffxivapp to alert you when he stats casting, and immediately run when you hear the sound.

It takes him awhile to cast it, but your dodge time is the same as Titan's weight of the land before he was nerfed.

Even if that is what they did, and they just got lucky, thats a huge accomplishment still.

EDIT: And I don't think anyone wants or cares about the full fight mechanics, the question on people's mind is... are you doing more than the above?
