Basically what I got out of that video is run around in circle, some times die anyways, battleres 20 times and win anyways? (I assume they're dying still because of the "tight tuning"?)

DAMMIT ROCCO
I don't think the twister mechanic itself is "tuned" in an interesting way, but the interaction with the dreadknights is decent, and I like the tuning in the last phase a lot.
If you want to count, twister dodge rate for the kill was:
Carraway: 1/1
Arin: 2/2
Verily: 2/4
Sniper: 3/3
Junpei: 3/3
Sirius: 3/4
Peng: 2/2
Lilaea: 1/1
Each individual in our kill group has, at one time or another, achieved 80-90% dodge rate over a night's worth of attempts (~4-6 hours).
Your SCH clicks some of his skills and died to every twister, weak link detected!
Sounds like you need a new scholar.
I was just making a smart ass comment because I honestly didn't expect so many deaths to be involved in a kill. I suppose that really shows the skill gap when our healers some times struggle with mana without all those res going out.
Looked to me like you needed to essentially do a 270 degree spin (hit all 4 cardinal directions?) but the dodge at 10:45 was way too late for that. Might just be 180 but given how shitty the game is at reading your position you need very precise timing for it. Wonder if it's any easier on a pad with analogue movement! Also stealing your conflag strat, thx BG.
Conflag strat was the best.
Man. Just reading that reddit thread makes my head hurt. So many people still bitching that Twister is "broken". LOL
This is what it looked like to me (awful paint):
Spoiler: show
Yeah the 10:45 dodge looked way too late to register the right/D movement in time though, which just makes me think there's something more to it or it's a 180/u-turn.
Really? There are a lot of fights i've done in WoW that just fuck you over due to RNG. Where my guild was like "oh well, fucking got screwed there". One off the top of my head is Ragnaros Hardmode in the last phase in Cata with his placement of shit on the ground and how he loved to put it at his feet sometimes, fucking you over when you needed the stun. Hell most MMOs rely on RNG fucking you over in end game just to make it last a little longer because MMO fights are NOT hard at all and just require basic pattern recognition.
As expected, it always looks easier when you're not the one in the fight yourself. Haha.
Nice work guys! It's great to finally see a video of the full fight.
