How do they not have server first? The BG group that killed Twintania isn't on Gilgamesh like MOD is.

Also, screw putting the tank in the conflag. That just isn't working for us lol. I somehow fail to get the tank topped off going in and out and he just dies. Easiest for us to just leave him out.

Another reason groups might not want to throw the tank in the conflags is to help build LB through eating Death Sentences then healing (with or without tank swaps). Depends on gear, healer/tank comfort levels and proactive skill/spell selection, etc.

Seems it's best for tank to wait for Death Sentence to start casting then hop in, should be at high HP at that point regardless.

With our setup and the changes to not being able to stun the conflag anymore we seem to be struggling to DPS the second conflag within the 10 seconds we get, we have MNK DRG SMN BRD so our dps setup isn't full of ideal classes for bursting something down. We are currently doing 2 groups of 4 people for taking the fireballs so the boss has 4 stacks of Waxen Flesh

Is there anyway to extend the second conflag, gear drops have been horrific for most of our group, the BRD has not seen a single coil drop in 6 weeks and healers have 1 piece of allagan each which makes doing 3 people Fireball stacks unreliable, our 3 other DPS are rocking gear which is what is making this much sadder for me knowing they are more than geared enough to get this conflag down but the fact they can't really burst is screwing us up it seems.

conflags work this way NORMALLY if your doing the "BG way":

1,3,5 you get a L0 conflag when the fireball person steps into the storm

2,4,6 you gotta use your CDs and burn it within the 15ish sec. This can involve some luck because your best DPS may be locked

usually he will drop his 2nd segment of collar and fly away after the 5th, so you prolly need to split ur CDs into 2 to get past this

this phase is a dps check and i fully understand your pain on shitty drops.....we havent got any upgrades either the past 2 weeks (eg. people who got healer body also happen to have AF2 already...)

and most people dont wanna burn their myth because they can prolly get it from turn 1-4... someone gotta make the sac ; ;

HOWEVER, before we knew the "BG way" we always feed 3 person to the fireball to get 20ish sec per conflag, but that will need you to get HP high, eat HP food and the sub PLD applying stoneskin non stop for the 3 to survive. Hope this helps your problem.... (by extending 5 sec i hope it helps lol)

if not, just leave the fight to another day.... pray for upgrades next week...

Thanks for this we were doing 4 stacks > have conflag eat fireball > 4 stacks we noticed that our second Conflag always was blowing up at 10 seconds though which is what was so confusing for us a long amount of time because that seems incredibly short duration from what we have read.
