Besides there being a checkbox for "Automatically face target when using action", there's a default keybind for face target.

yeah but for things that moves out of your LoS after you cast, i rather have standard
Preliminary testing on random people with my level 12 conjurer resulted in me having no problem curing people who run directly through/behind me. Are you sure this issue exists?
Healing doesnt have problems. Its blm's and summoner's that has this problem.
Interesting that it doesn't affect heals. Used stone and indeed casts on wildly moving targets would be interrupted if I didn't press the facetarget keybind or include /ft in a macro.
Seems silly to me to manually track with the mouse/kb when you can just autotrack with a keybind and/or macro.
already been holding right click the whole time, might as well, easier than using keybind/macro
Once you reach the last phase of Twintania (liquid hells and eggs) what is a "great" "good" and "pushing it" amount of time to have left on enrage timer? My static finally made it to this phase last night then everyone (myself included) got all panicky and we wiped lol.
I think we had 1 min 50 sec on timer at 27% remaining and it just seemed like not alot of time.
Almost 2 minutes is plenty of time to push 27%. People should be going all out - if you're putting the OT in the Neurolink underneath her, no one has to dodge anything except Liquid Hell which can only target one person at a time. I think the fastest we've done the last 30% was about 1:30.
Really can't remember how many we had it but I'm pretty sure it was 5 but we did get a last second one at like 30.2% or something stupid tho so it should have only been 4 because i remember yelling to push it before next dread and we did burn the lb.
Sweet! Means we are pretty much on track just need less panic so we don't cock it all up. I bet it would have looked funny from above XD
About 2 minutes and 15 seconds with a new group is what you need to push her from phase change at 30% to dead assuming no one dies or is weakened. Everyone needs to be up on that phase during your first kill, the leniency comes later.
Was using the XIVAPP Twintania Widget last night cause we finally got some time to go on my alt character group and do Turn 5. Took about 4 and a 1/2 hours with 3 new people and it ended up being pretty epic because of the enrage counter at the end from app lol.

Close victories are always the best! Video from our first win a few months ago:

Sounds good. Yeah our BRD ended up eating that last dread because we were not expecting it so couldn't dps it down.
Was most of our first time using xivapp twin widget also, alot better than the other twinapps available and it helped alot.
Thanks everyone for the advice and guidelines!
So my coil static is finally putting some effort into T5 after clearing T4 for nearly 2 months. However, Practicing conflags in phase 2 and we've come across a DPS problem for the faster ones, which to me just seems odd and I can't figure it out.
We have BRD BLM SMN DRG for our DPS. All of them are at least i84+ with the DRG being i90. So I thought that with both tanks helping on conflags as i88 PLDs would be more than enough but we had trouble consistently killing them in time. Currently we are stacking in groups of 4 for fireballs. unfortunately not everyone in the group has enough HP to stack in smaller groups of 3 although we did try it.
This has resulted in them wanting me to solo tank the whole fight and have our OT switch to his DRG for more DPS. Problem is our OT sucks at DRG and isn't even that well geared on it so there isn't that much of an increase. No i90 weapon and probably i78 or 79 at best with his gear. This did make up for our DPS issues, but has me concerned for phase 3.
I'm going to parse them the next time we go for some attempts to try and figure out where our DPS problem is, because I can't figure out how we've had so much trouble on conflags unless one of them just plain sucks.
I have only recently started working on T5 and I was wondering if I could have a sanity check. I am a whm with an ilvl of 82 at this point in time
We are still working on conflags, the issues we are having is either we fail to destroy the fast conflag, or the tank dies coming off the fast conflag -- Twin likes hitting them with some pretty heavy moves as they leave. I have been told that I should dps during the conflag phase, but after looking at some whm POV videos I am not seeing that so I am wondering if its correct. It is fairly hectic to be dpsing, keeping the tank topped off for death sentance while also paying attention to the markers, I could imagine being able to dps once I'm more familiar with the fight but I am wondering if it should be considered necessary.
I'm just wondering if the dps during conflags is a problem, will it make the snake phase impossible? I would guess that part of the fight is much more healing intensive and it wouldn't be very possible to switch to cleric stance during that phase. I can certainly work on my multi-tasking but seems like a very difficult phase for whm if that is the case.
