Our group kinda just spread out on our first try and have been using the same spots ever since... only thing I know is that I'm typically just right of the neurolink as bard, the other bard is just left of it, and the healers are usually... roughly on the top of the hill where you start the fight. Other DPS were on the far side... obviously this is dependent on group.

That matches up pretty well with what my group does, though either you guys place your neurolinks differently, or the pit is in the wrong place (if I were to draw that, the pit would be squarely between neuro 1&2). Not that it matters.

Just make sure you're around the edges of the arena when the dread drops, and if you're on voice chat, have someone say when they're stun locked so the DPS know they're clear to run back into attacking range.

That hill used to be problematic for dodging twisters. Something about the terrain and changing elevation to dodge them meant that sometimes they would hit you anyway regardless. Perhaps they've fixed it or maybe other people just don't have that issue.

The hill fucks up ballad for me, the elevation difference I guess? And I have to get much closer to our bard than I'd like to get the buff. Never had it twister me unreasonably though

Ours looks like this. We kind of just fell into these places naturally as well. The tank used to be a bit more on the hill, but we decided that the hill is fucking evil so we don't go there anymore. So many issues like the balls being weird, the tank not being able to hit twintania, etc. I like the healer positions because I can hit the whm easily with ballad, and the OT easily with paeon, and the sch has aetherflow so they don't need me. I tend to find myself running circles around the neurolink for twisters usually lol. Otherwise the smn and me run towards each other but offset.
