Fabulous. I'm getting a little worried about how many people they're letting into the treehouse though. The Men of Letters and Abaddon were pretty certain there was some crazy world ending shit in there, so what's up? One of the basement doors go straight into the Cage or something?

Couple of random thoughts: New angel is totally going to double cross. He's too shady. And what's going on with Metatron? He just sitting alone up in Heaven, naked because the house all to himself, rubbin his nuts on the couch?

I think she is secretly an angel, when she killed the vampire that tried to pick her up, and thought he was getting lucky, I swear I saw her pulling out one of their silver swords before getting into the van.

Also I am in love with the chick that plays Abaddon, her little fight with Dean was awesome, and I loved when Dean had the line about fighting or banging because he had mixed signals lol.

Perhaps, but is he "awake" all the time or does he only come to the forefront when Sam is unconscious? As such when Sam hit his head on the wall in the diner. And the rest of the time he's just kinda chilling there making them both stronger but not really aware of what's going on?

btw what happened to the plan of smashing the gates of hell down? I know Sam stoped because he was about to die when he tried to "cleanse" crowly, but they dont even mention that plan anymore. Its like they said fuck it, even tough Sam is now being healed from the angel inside him (without knowing). Also curious why Metatron hasnt shown up yet again. Did he close himself up into heaven by leting the angels fall, so he cant get out himself?

I assume he has no reason to show up, he got rid of everyone that could pose a problem to him returning home for the first time in eons without fear for his life, he's probably content to just be ruler until the Winchesters find a way to unlock Heaven and then they'll fight and what not.

I'm pretty sure he stopped because that would be the consequence of completing the trial. If they redo the trial, the same issue pops up.

plus, they learned that people can be rescued/redeemed from hell which was the point I think. If they shut the gate, they cut all of it off
