Dunno if my group is clearing 5, then, because 2 was not happening with haste up.
We'll deal with that when we get there.

ADS is the new Ebon Panels, neat.
MMO PhDs don't prepare you for sarcasm
turn 1 ADS > turn 2 ADS
true story
Couple of questions since experimentation during super serious time is hard:
1. You can't mix and match left and right paths without killing an extra node right; The choices are either left, left, boss or right, right, boss?
2. Therefore, the only way to remove both gravity well and firestream is to kill almost all the nodes?
2. If the player with rot on them dies, does rot get recast?
Downed turn two today, but I'm probably going to split off to manage a second group and try to get them through turns one and two.
Also pretty sure you can't mix and match directions. Right/Right FTW baby.
You -can- mix and match, you just end up with ADS getting some interesting combinations.
Firestream and Ballast on the same enemy isn't something I wish to experience.
My favorite ADS move is when it uses Balast and Repelling Cannon at the same time!
Ma de m'y group use the W went 1/1 easy as hell now to pass 3 week doing turn 4
lmfao
Christ, I seriously wish I read this thread earlier. We've been having massive problems with tanks just getting absolutely fucked damage wise. The guide we originally used must have been trolling because it told us to switch hate at 5 stacks on tanks. We dropped this to 4 after seeing how much 5 sucked but were still occasionally getting times where tanks just got rocked without being able to do anything. We thought we might just be undergeared (we're at like 6k and 6.2k atm) but it makes so much sense now...
5 Stacks is possible but it's pretty brutal. I've always aimed for 3.
Out of curiosity, would it work if after initial rotation tanks just watched their own debuff timer and took hate off the co-tank as soon as it dropped / got to the last 1-2 seconds? I don't see any reason why it wouldn't but might be overlooking something.
That's what my parties usually do. By the time the co-tank's debuff dropped, the main tank would have 3 stacks.
The only time this isn't true is during the ADS fight because with all the spells it's casting, the timing can get very wonky.
Focus target the other tank and either alert them of inc. pull when you have either 5 seconds before stacks wear off, or just pull when your stacks wear off. The other tank should have no more than 3 stacks at that point.
The only time stacks get out of control is during ballast phase because if he ballasts into a corner, both tanks must stand there, and the off tank winds up eating a single cleave attack and having his/her stacks refreshed. My group always has some wonky-ass endings to that fight because both tanks wind up sitting at 6 or so stacks by the end of the fight, and someone always drops.
