FFXI-3100 when connecting to lobby server

Is this related to the maintenance starting soon or something else? I just did a 2 hour patch after reactivating from a year of absence. I've been trying to fix it for half an hour.

Since last being able to play, I have moved, and have a different router, a D-LINK DIR-826L. I have assigned myself a static IP address and put my system in the DMZ to test this, still no luck. Windows Firewall has an exception for POL.EXE. I'm considering a packet monitor to check what is going on with my traffic and where, but that will have to wait till tomorrow evening after work.

I know this ISP doesn't block the game because I have used it before, and have friends here that play on it.

I just disabled Windows Firewall entirely, and maintenance started while trying to log in. WIll post results later.

And solved it... PeerBlock was blocking me from connecting to the server. I forgot about that program since I had my computer offline for a month.
