Not really playing this on the iOS but it's my first playthrough and thought I'd share.
Got to a point in the game where you only control Celes.

Cid died... was tragic. Also, Celes is that much of a badass that throwing herself off a cliff isn't enough to kill her. :<


Additionally people told me later there is a way to make sure he doesn't die but I felt that his death and the scene with Mina despairing over it was pretty good so... not going to go back to an old save. Plus I don't like save scumming my first attempt at a game when the reward isn't good/there is none.

So far I've found Sabin, Edgar, Setzer, Terra(refuses to join), Shadow(injured), Moogle, Cyan, Umumumumumumuru... Apparently I missed something back at Figaro the stream said last night so I need to go look around Figaro again.

Does it exist in the FF6 Advance version? D: That's the one I'm playing. I was originally playing it on the SNES but I was told to stop and get the GBA version.

I'm not sure which bug he's referring to but they did fix quite a few between versions, including my personal favorite of being able to make Celes or Terra invincible

Celes ~feels~ invincible as she is but I'm sure you mean something more game breaking/buggy. XD


Also I love how Edgar has never stopped being so god tier. His broad shoulders have carried me through 90% of this game and now all his hard work is paying off. Everyone else is lethal.

Ideally I want Celes to meat grinder the rest of the game. I'd like to close out the game with:

Celes
Edgar
Sabin
Terra or Locke

Just went with the team I like the best.

Well it was more like... I left the house, wandered the world map a bit, was wondering what I was supposed to do. Ended up wandering back to the house and then exiting south. I only caught 1... :<

I usually go

Celes (Mage dealer)
Terra (Mage DD + Heal)
Sabin + shadow, main DPS and nothing stand in my way!

In the SNES version you could push Celes or Terra (it was one or the other because of gear you could only get a single piece of) evasion and magic evasion into the neighborhood of 120%. There were a few unavoidable attacks that could still hit them, but none of those attacks could kill and the usually lethal followup attacks would just whiff.

From the GBA version and on evasion and magic evasion caps out so you can't go over 100% anymore.

Edgar, Celes, Setzer, and Locke was usually my preferred team at endgame.

Edgar can wear most of the baller as fuck gear (including the stuff exclusive to him and Sabin) and his tools provide great options for hitting multiple targets for free.
