It's like, they're all so gloriously bad. And so much mad. So so much mad. Why is WHM so upset lol?
WHms are crying because the SCH buffs. SCHs are crying because they think everyone will level SCH.
Literally, nothing has changed as far as party comp lol.
heh

This thread is gold.
From my experience finding a WHM is easy, but finding a well geared SCH is like next to impossible... We need more SCH's in this game as is anyway.
So conflicted! I can waste time by reading these posts, but risk going brain dead or I can go do stuff and risk missing an early maint end. lol
Good news and bad news
Good news: Selene AI is smart enough to cycle Fey Light/Glow on her own.
Bad news: Pet AI in general has an extra layer of convolution. It is now...
"Free stance": Basically Sic+Guard from before. Cannot issue manual commands
Sic: Same as before. Cannot issue manual commands
Obey: Same as before (with notes of which skills are disabled by Obey). Must use this to issue manual commands
Obey, it's on the tooltip
In the realm of "Who fucking cares?"
In other news, Yugl was doing some testing and found that Faeries can be interrupted by a single hit during spellcast in both PvP and PvE. Additional testing found this extended to Summoner pets as well (Garuda obviously being impacted).
Can macro Embrace to cast on certain party members now. That changes a lot for me. Just a shame Obey requires a target to set her in the right AI mode first.
[EDIT] Typos.
Btw, the pet command is /pac if anyone needs to know.
Does anyone else have a problem with pet commands not interrupting current actions and not firing properly in a macro?
ie. this is the macro I use:
/pac "fey illumination" <me>
/ac "rouse" <me>
/pac "whispering dawn" <me>
/wait 1
/pac "whispering dawn" <me>
If all goes well the Eos uses Illumination if it's up while I use Rouse then uses Dawn, if Illumination is down she'll just start casting Dawn while I use Rouse.
The problem I'm running into when Eos is already casting Embrace as I hit the macro, if she's too early or late in the cast one ability or the other won't fire (too early and Illumination is skipped, too late and Illumination is used but the command to use Dawn is too soon and is skipped).
It's really annoying and I can't figure a way to override/stop her current action so she uses the skills as intended.
Does changing pet modes interrupt casting? Cause short of denying her the use of any ability without input I don't think there's a way to cancel pet casting.
Elcura did your pet maybe get interrupted? That can happen now.
Side note: Its a miracle! Eos stays on Obey!
