How is it that I'm getting outparsed so bad?

Make sure you understand the gimmicks of the various NMs, otherwise you will either parse worse, or even hinder your alliance. Others being automatic while you not knowing yet what to do/when makes a drastic difference.

It's BIS at the moment, but it's not going to make a huge difference.

Mind sharing the setup you have in mind?
I did only a couple of very very elementary tests on the spreadsheet some time ago, and I remember swapping Belt+Body slots from Thaumas/Windbuffet to Tantra+2/Twilight during Impetus produced a small loss in damage, not an increase.

I still have the results here, I'll post them so you can help me understand where are the mistakes in the generic setups I used

Target: Tojil
Buffs active: Red Curry Bun, Focus, Impetus, Berserk, Haste, Embrava, (soulvoice), March2, Minu5, Minu4, Minu3, Madri2, Chaos Roll, Hunter's Roll
Setup 1: (Thaumas & Windbuffet) 679,8
Setup 2: (Tantra+2 & Twilight) 667

Target: Delve Fodder
Buffs active: As above
Setup 1: 1182
Setup 2: 1164,1

Target: Delve fodder
Buffs active: None (just impetus)
Setup 1: 419,5
Setup 2: 411,1

I'm not trying to prove you wrong, I'm sure I missed something, I just want to know what.
I currently still have 2 different TP sets for Impetus up and down, and just yesterday in LSchat me and a few other guys were wondering if it was still worth it, and we were all leaning toward the "no, it's not worth it". Having more solid, objective and unbiased ('cause we clearly are biased) data would be awesome though.

People shouldn't be having acc issues outside of Ceizak. Even then...

You don't need over 9000 acc buffs anymore, but it still matters to a certain extent. Also depends on Geo Buffs/debuffs etc.
It still kinda matters on Bee, way less relevant than it used to be on Shark and Tojil and, of course, on everything else currently in game.

Nothing special, something very average I guess.
As I mentioned before mine was a really fast test, didn't have the chance to dig thoroughfully through it.
By doing this I clearly omitted some relevant variables and that's likely why I'm getting different results. I'm just wondering what these variables could be.
I think the gearset on the spreadsheet was something like:

Uk'uxkaj / Asperity / Blade / Steel
Thaumas / Otronif / Epona / Rajas
Atheling / Windbuffet / Mani / Otronif

Manibozho is R15 STR and Otronif have DA+1%

No reason at all.
I guess I just couldn't be bothered to add more. Think I didn't add Geo stuff either.
And I guess that's probably where the problem is, in a single buff: Rogue Roll.
Given the connection between Tantra+2 and Impetus, and given the bonus Rogue Roll gives, that's probably the one single buff that makes Tantra+2 better than Thaumas during Impetus.

No time to test it now but fairly sure that was the mistake in my short test.

No problem. I was getting the dps difference of 1314 (with an impetus set) and 1311 without one.
You can also take hunter's roll off of the list for Samurai's roll if you're getting SV madrigal, I'm almost certain.

So AF3+2 body must be full timed during Impetus? And its also better than Thaumas during Impetus?

I have input lag Orinthia. I don't know why it lags so much, I have a good processor and 2 gigs of RAM.

My Setup:
Weapon Oatixur
Head Otronif Mask w/ augmented accuracy +4
Body Thaumas Coat
Legs Manibohzo Brais
Feet Manibohzo
Hands Otronif gloves w/ augmented Double attack +1
Back Atheling Mantle
Ring1 Epona's
Ring2 Rajas

Earring2 Bladeborn
Neck Asperity Necklace
Waist Twilight Belt
Ammo Honed Tanthum

So there you have it, the other MNKs had similar gear too. I doubt a whirlpool mask would make such a difference in a parse nor windbuffet belt though I want those pieces to optimize my MNK.

Cdgreg I follow instructions when in Delve so I know what to do, like use formless strikes on Mastop at 75%, ect and don't use Shijin Spiral but Asuran Fists instead, ect.

Again, I think its a matter of the fact I didn't eat pizza or sushi and that I have input lag...it doesn't affect me that bad but it is annoying and I have to hit macro's multiple times in a row sometimes before it goes off so sometimes my TP is 200% by the time I ws.

Appearently the added crit hit rate from rogue roll is what gives a small advantage to af3+2/twilight over thaumas/windbuffet.

Also looking at the op's gearset. Some obvious suggestions that come to mind are about the head slot. If you cannot get whirlpool mask yet try to get uk'uxkaj, which is better than whirlpool in several circumstances if I recall anyway.
A less obvious suggestion is for the waist slot. If for any reason you don't want to get a windbuffetbelt, use shaolin belt. Very easy to get and in terms of dps is the closest thing to windbuffet (inferior of course)

Altough honeslty I don't see your gearset as the main problem here. Iyour set is good enough, should put you behind others of course but the difference shouln'dt be as big as you describe

Yeah, with the OP's setup they shouldn't be sorely behind the other MNKs/DDs. Fix your game and modify your settings, so you won't have 5 second lag. Worse comes, there are programs that will WS for you, if your macro lag is that broken.

I tried to get into a Marjami Ravine WKR yesterday but the leader could only find 8 people and he disbanded the party after about an hour. ><

He's going to try again later on in the week so maybe (if I'm lucky) I'll get uk'uxkaj. I've been trying to get that head piece too. Did shark yesterday as well but didn't get the win which I need.

I'll brew Ovni and the shaolin belt is a 100% drop, correct? Seems way easy to get. I can't believe I didn't know about it as I constantly research on the best gears cause I hate being gimp.

And yes, Taruina, I have my settings the way they should be. Maybe I should lower my resolution to 800x600 which sucks but maybe it'll make a difference. What are these programs you speak of? I don't have windower, can't you get banned using that?

But sure, if you have Cruor to burn, after all not like you can spend it any other way these days.
I seem to recall Shaolin Belt being 100%, the other one (7% haste) is not instead.

I brewed Ovni just for fun. I have 4 mil cruor so it wasn't a big deal. I got the belt to drop. It'll hold me until I get the 500k needed to buy windbuffet. Hopefully I get a +2 verdigris stone in skirmish or something, I got one yesterday. I also tried shark again and failed again...I'm tired of getting my butt kicked every time I go. But believe it or not I didn't lag that much.

No its 2 mil lol. I have 1.5 mil, so I need 500k to buy the belt. Oh how I wish it was only 500k, or better yet, free by getting it to drop in WoE.
