yeah and Im pretty sure we double encrypted that bitch too and added extra salt on top of extra security mods that prevent sql shittery from happening
only ragns can get to the database that contains the encrypted passwords as well, no other admins, and ragns doesnt have the CPU power to decrypt that sort of thing

we dont want to deal with people trying to taj our database, our admin passwords are stupidly long (and annoying to type, which is why I dont use tapatalk because I have to log in all the damn time)
our security is honestly paramount to these forums and we keep them secure because we care a lot about running a reputable forum (I said reputable, but that doesnt mean we dont have some dbags on it). We get offers, tons of offers, very lucrative ones, to put pop ups and pop unders and send spam to our users and sell our database of email addresses, all that shit, but we dont do it because we would just be another shithead forum site if we did. and let me be clear, if it hasnt been yet, we dont operate this forum for monetary gain, we run it at a loss, I still have shitty debt from the first forum servers I bought because I didnt pay off that CC, but I live with it because BG is safe and secure, and I do my part to keep it that way (though my part is not nearly as special as ragns part, but I talk to people better than he does)

It sounds like you have a malware that hijacks your FFXIV application's web pages and logged into a spoof site, tells you some BS thing about resetting your password and still have it look legit.

Because I doubt SE has anything like "You logged in last in Malaysia! We blocked your account, go here to make sure this was you." thing set up.

FC mates have been reporting virus attacks from ads coming from XIV database and other sites with google ads.

Get a token and get a good browser with adblock to view those sites...
