Wait till we all realize how Little endgame content we're actually getting with this new patch. Crystal Tower, nope, that is shit-tier endgame content. New dungeons, nope new Mythology Farming zones, maybe. PVP, 4v4 meh-fest.

When it comes down to it. The earliest we can expect real endgame content is March 2014. New Coil Turns, with new higher gear tiers.

Which leads to another concern, they better fkin raise the level caps, else AF2 and CoilTier2 gear is going to look fkin dumb with a level 50 cap. Oversaturation of content on a specific level is going to look retarded 2 years down the road, unless there is an equal amount of content for each cap further down.

Yeah, how dare people expect to get content they pay for sooner rather than later. If the game was free to play, then yeah, people could be called impatient. Seeing as its $15/month right now, I think the complaints are justified.

Lol, I wouldn't say its exaggerated, I'd just say I'm probably not gonna pay for it, lmao. Which I'm 90% sure I'm not. If it was just 1.0 people bitching I'd say "meh it's our own damn fault" however, it's new players also.
Honestly what pisses me off more than anything is how god damn quiet SE has been relative to how they were before launch.

So the lineart that they showed us for new Artifact sets, some people in-game were telling me that they planned to put that in as the 'new' sprites for the Mythology stones AF. As in, those sets in different colors are just placeholders for the new gear being shown. I haven't found any information anywhere to confirm that, so I'm guessing they're just outright wrong. Is there any information BG is aware of to confirm or deny this?

Why would they bother replacing the current relic armor? Not like this company has qualms about palette swaps. That gear's supposed to come out in 2.2, when they add more Coil turns and new Allagan armor sets. It's way way more likely that the new JSE sets that they announced at the same time as new Allagan will be the sidegrade Tomestone armor. The same way you can get ilevel 90 shit from Myths or from current coil, you'll probably be able to buy those ilevel 100 (or whatever they end up being) sets with some new stones.

As a sidenote, am I the only one that hates the viking look of the warrior stuff? Those big ugly gray snowpants look like shit. And the forward facing demon horns on current war gear looks way better than those flaccid little upward cow horns on the viking hat. Body's okay though.

Yeah, that. I swear english is my first language. I'm starting to sound a bit like Rata. The whole idea of it seemed pretty farfetch'd to me, but I haven't been keeping up with patch notes like I used to in 11, so I guess anything could happen as far as I knew.

I agree, I prefer the current warrior equipment to the lineart listed earlier in this thread. The pants look off, like too bulky and thick, not really armored looking. The hat reminds me of something Chinese for some reason, lol.

I agree, I prefer the current warrior equipment to the lineart listed earlier in this thread. The pants look off, like too bulky and thick, not really armored looking. The hat reminds me of something Chinese for some reason, lol.

Is this really the behavior you want to instill onto a playerbase? Constantly cancelling and resubbing when patches hit?

The more opportunities you give players to quit your game, the more likely they won't come back when contents fresh out of the microwave.

Star wars is "still around", long after the playerbase abandoned it for lack of content. Both titles went free to play as well.
