    VPN Issues

    Currently going nuts with my SE account via a VPN.

    When I'm at home I don't use the VPN so no issues there, but at work I have to in order to bypass their SonicWall firewall thing. Problem is, SE prompts me with "WE THINK YOUR SECURITY HAS BEEN BREACHED" every time I log in with the VPN (usually to another country, but even happens when I connect to a US-based VPN) and I'm forced to change my password.

    Any ideas on how to get around this or am I shit out of luck?

    They do this unless you have a token. It's a load of shit, but it's their idea of security.

    @Corrderio: Thanks! That basically answers it.

    @Andradi: Thought it was obvious; I meant while logging into FFXIV. My SE account ID's security is put into question because of the VPN.

    I used logmein from work to remote into my home PC and play when i'm bored and have jack shit to do. Its very sluggish though so most you can really do is either craft or gather.

    Last I tried in 1.0, TeamViewer was best for remote access over VNC or LogMeIn.

    i can understand crafting...but dont u lag when u try to use the mouse ? i mean, via teamviewer, everytime i move the mouse...the camera goes wild....
