I married (and widowered) into a Jewish family. Wasn't really what you'd go "DATS RACIST" about, but my fucking gawd, some of the shit I get working a transit desk, including one guy of African-American descent who went ballistic about my being Jewish and hence trying to screw him over on a farecard. (Never mind that it was for an Atlanta system, we're in Virginia, and we don't refund farecards, especially ones for a non-local system).

I'm Irish-Italian Catholic mutt. Uh, nope! But Eatontown/Red Bank, same way. Only it's Catholics and Jews instead, trying to keep the neighborhoods from going to shit and pissing off the other minorities in the process.

It's the "New-Jerusalem." Supposedly there are signs in Israel that say visit Lakewood. They are expecting another 80,000 influx of them over the next year or two as well.
