I've still yet to find one of these add on items that weren't sold cheaper with free shipping and no order minimum from other sellers :/

my mom and i got tired of doing that though so we stopped. i don't really use amazon enough to warrant prime on my own, and they're fine with paying for it. also i can just leech off theirs.

I never have a need for something within a day or two, so prime is pretty worthless to me since most anything I order is 35$, or I just wait until I need a few things that total up to that point. I'm happy to wait a few more days for no extra cost; that's how i'm so wealthy. No idea why someone would pay 80$ a year for that, or be in such a rush to swap accounts every six months.
