    They're still not able to. It's a face roll for anyone that knows what they're doing thanks to all of the ilvl buffs, but for morons, it's still out of reach, whether 6 man or 18 man. No reason to think this batch will be any different. We'll spend the first weekish figuring out weaknesses, triggers, etc. Then we'll optimize parties to hit them all, as well as take on the boss. It'll be interesting to see what we'll need to do for the bosses, since Yumcax and Hurkan will both be resisting stun.

    If anything, I'm more interested in if they'll be harder than current Delve or not. I mean, it's cool that we've stopped at 119 for a bit to allow us to side grade out more, instead of every update obliterating everything in the game. But it'll seem kinda silly if this batch is of the same difficulty, just different strategies to figure out. I hope it is a bit harder, but it'll be kind of annoying if the gear isn't major upgrades. Catch 22 I guess.

    Considering the massive stat increases on every monster released lately, I'm pretty sure delve 2 will be significantly harder than delve 1.

    That depends a lot on how they go about handling progression of the game, if the item level increases the content should be harder, if it stays the same then PLD RNG army most likely because Hurkan and Yumcax can't be stunned and they have some rather lethal TP moves. If they include Kumhau then I would figure he would be the Tojil of the 3 in terms of easiest to stupid.

    We all know it's going to be 9 rangers 3 cors 3 brds maybe 3 schs/whms(cursna plds) 2-3 plds. (basically)

    Tree and the bird are going to be RNG onry, immune to stun etc.

    I don't really see that as a challenge. The amount of bronihilators and broichis made specifically for killing aa's will just carry the trend.

    I guess that will be "fun" "challenging" and "exciting" right guys?

    I'm assuming RUNs are going to be vital for Hurkan at least.

    stunner might be still needed for pre NMs if they are hard and have some shitty TP moves that could lead to a plds death (encumbrance, weakness, doom). but yeah relic rngs all over the place most likely

    Highly doubtful, unless you're just sticking one into each RNG party to protect from static prison cause you want your RNGs to stand in the sweet spot or some shit. PLD will still be better for holding the NM because "balance"

    It won't be unless they are increasing the ilvl cap.

    Delve became "easy" after they added the +skills on the weapons and stat vomit on the gear.

    how to instantly ruin reforged relic: make it so only one or two groups of 18 players per server can reliably clear new delves

    I have a feeling that yumcax wont be possible to do with rngs if you cant break the regen via nukes or /run (if that even works). I think they will put alot of effort into makeing it a pain in the ass to beat the bosses if you dont use their gimmick to weaken them. they wont be that piss easy to deal with as the first 3.

    You don't even need relics for RNG to do the hardest level of AA, can get by just fine with Eminent Bow.

    No, it's just that relics are really easy to make nowadays, Anni-RNGs have always been the safety net to win any new content until a more easy/faster melee strategy is figured. Yeah a lot of people are jumping on the RNG bandwagon now, and that's not because RNG is awesome, it's just that any scrub can make any relic without help, but the way you worded things, you made it sound like it was something new.

    Sub NIN or DRG then, you don't need relics to do it. It isn't a requirement as was said by someone.

    Well assuming it follows the same pattern as the currently available 119 relic gear and 119 AF gear, then most of its going to suck anyway.

    Whether or not this content requires a large number of high end rngs, I just pray that it does exclude all but the better linkshells initially. If all the content is beatable by the average player then it will just expedite the demise of the linkshells that formed in response to the first round of delve.

    The best way to open older content up as time goes by is to actually implement the vertical gear integration they harped on about for new high level content. Instead we've been stuck with at 119 since delve and the gap in DPS between a perfectly geared job and one thats spent a couple of days doing skirmish/farming 6man delve is as small as its ever been.

    If you throw the word bro in front of a good, efficient weapon/strategy that's condescending right. I know everyone saying bronihilator has beat all AA on very difficult with warrior tank and rdm damage dealers.

    [dev1184] New Records of Eminence Objectives

    New categories, "Tutorial (Quests)" and "Fishing," will be introduced.

    Tutorial Objective Examples

    Expand one's Mog House exit.
    Obtain alter egos.
    Obtain a support job.
    Obtain a chocobo license.
    Unlock additional jobs.
    They better add a trigger that if you already have these completed, you can just talk to the NPC and get them completed. Not even for the free sparks/xp (though welcome), it would be a constant sore spot to have these in the menu and be unable to clear out.
