Wow a lot of awesome stuff coming, I would prefer they upped the merit point cap instead of lowering the required merits.

Diamond Storm and Spring water do land on most things. Most debuffs pre-76, especially those you'd actually want to use, do not land on most significant things. DS and SW do not however give amnesia. The debuff will not land because if it lasts for any significant amount of time you would just bring 2-3 SMN and amnesia/silence lock all bosses forever.

I don't blame you for not having faith in me, you don't know me ;p I've been a summoner since before NA release, first job to 75 and currently working towards nirvana. I know the job, and what it can do, quite well.

Also on the whole wether it will land without sleep I'm fairly certain light of penance is all or nothing though that might partly be because it's gaze. Also we get feather tickle and drk gets absorb tp and I've tried using them all to help in fights and even non engaged fights with low tp feed it never seemed that effective against most nms. Probably because tbey usually have regain or some kind of crazy store tp and partial resist/reduced potency

Reaving Wind is the only one worth using. Light of Penance and Feather Tickle are shit.

The immune message was within the last few years (was it this last year? I forget) Shiva has landed sleepga on undead for as long as I can remember. I used it in the level 50 cap mission fight against those skeleton mobs and that was forever ago.

Edit: I totally forgot it's a gaze....How do they expect us to get our avatars to face the monster in a fight? We can't position them.

The issue is the monster has to look at the avatar for a gaze attack to work. The avatar has to choose to go to the face of the monster, and the monster cannot turn. As you know, avatar pathing sucks and sometimes they'll just move to the side of a monster and start attacking for no good reason. This happens a lot with larger mobs like hydra and such.

Where are people getting the idea Eerie Eye is a gaze attack from anyway? It's not on the wiki or the update notes, and otherwiki has verification needed.

Whelp I'm confused as fuck now. Dark elemental resisted, Ice elemental didn't. So I went to try and sleep an undead and got resisted. They must have changed it at some point, it use to be able to sleep undead. I've used it multiple times on the undead in that level 50 cap fight as well as on fomor and shit for CoP. That was why shiva was so awesome, she was all special cause only shiva and bards had non dark based sleep before repose came along

Shiva's sleepga use to sleep undead, I am not remembering this wrong >.>
