    Did SE say that reforging empy was still happening? They made a remark recently that after relic and artifact, they were more interested in releasing new versions of old special armor.

    The last time I saw reforged empyreal being specifically mentioned is before they release reforged relic.
    But at this point I'm kinda taking it as a given to be released in a few months, if anything just to follow the pattern for RUN/GEO.

    empyrean* armor should be fantastic though regardless. sechs has good points when it comes to how long it might take. these equips are powerful in their own right, of course the stat vomit addition alone would make them up to date enough. that being said, im sure the debate on how to enhance the set bonuses and special attribute enhancements is going to take awhile to emerge because of the sole reason that is balancing them.

    edit: i am looking forward to the whm body, any increase at all on that body will be amazing.

    So, who else was surprised at the depth of the fishing adjustments? I didn't realize people cared that much about fishing to warrant an almost complete overhaul, complete with new HUD elements.

    Well they've been talking about adjustments for a year now. And if you look on the OF people have some strange ideas about fishing. Like how to make it more realistic or something. Giant flashing gold/silver arrows go lol. Though in the end it doesn't look like much is really changing. Some new proc animations and tapping instead of holding

    What the hell? Why does SE think RUN has trouble generating enmity? They have the most ridiculous list of enmity actions in existence.

    If anything, they'd have trouble maintaining CE, cause they'd be hemorrhaging it so fast from getting beat to a pulp. But I really don't see how nerfing Rune enmity is supposed to help...

    Maybe what they think the problem is is that it is too good at getting enmity and will focus on that instead of dealing dmg or providing support.... yet aren't they the ones that said run would be a tank job and not a support or DD? Not really sure what the heck they are thinking. It's enmity generation in general and from runes in specific are basically the only things that really really stand out for it

    actually they dont think RUN has trouble with enmity, they just want run to generate enmity via other methods then spamming Runes. The question is if the other method will be viable and good enough. Until they have a plan runes enmity will be untouched.

    So some new dev posts... one seems to be a general play nice and stop slandering each other lol. Some kind of summary of this weeks dev note and a joke/refrence to tasai refresh with amorph addition. Something about wanting to see the stats and status effects of pt members with /checkparam

    I do not expect them to do anything with Set bonus or JS Enhancements.
    Just like they did absolutely nothing with the Relic augments.
    The max I expect is maybe some tweak here and there on the JS Enhancements for JA/Spells added past the lv75 cap, but that's just a remote hypothesys imho.

    Even in this scenario, if the amount of stats vomit is compareable to the one we saw on 119 AF/Relic, then a large part of reforged Empyrean is going to be really good for TP, WS and other swaps.
    Up to the point it might make a considerable amount of Reforged relic/AF much less useful.

    The relevant dev post has already been posted (The RUN one), the other one was someone asking for some kind of display for status effects on party members, possibly through a text command. The response was basically "we're not doing it for now, we'll tell you if something changes", with the chat log getting flooded as one reason. If they wanted to use icons, they would need to go and work on that since apparently the Synergy element symbols also needed separate work to display.

    So much this. As a Ryunohige DRG, with gear that's pretty much as good as it gets, I STILL, use 3/5 lancer for DD purposes. The body is still extremely strong. Hard to beat 10 STP for TP. Legs are amazing for Drakes and jumps. Feet are still best in slot for spirit jump.

    I'm greatly anticipating Reforged empyrean. <,<

    From a DD perspective, Reforged DRG AF and Relic was pretty disappointing.

    My Dancer feels the same! Bring on that AF3+2 body with stat vomit. The defense / evasion / magic evasion hit I take by dropping from Maxixi Casaque +1 to AF3+2 body right now is pretty dramatic. 10% Dual Wield, though.
