Been Legend for too long to say, but Kamihr Drifts was all Legends I believe, or at least some of it was. I assumed everything after it, which every coalition has gained assignments, was Legend, though it may of back filled.

I'd guess they're adding an outdoors zone with the 7th Naakual (which I don't think is the white dragon), because it says they're adding new rewards from Celennia Library.
When they break it down to describe every single little thing they're doing though (add area, develop CS text, add NPC dialogue, etc) you'd think they'd make mention somewhere, at some point, "Adding new WKR." Maybe it's prep work or something for the 7th, but I don't think it's coming just yet.

What are the odds that a new zone has nothing to do with outer ra'kaznar and instead has us doing some globetrotting via the airship dock in Adoulin? How likely is that given the current storyline movements? I'm not caught up, but I'm basing this on some of the keywords in the background of the original trailer.

Fairly possible, we just let loose some wyrm that's either a savior or a destroyer of Ulbukka, and last we saw, it flew off all Wyrm King style like it had a purpose.

That'd fall under "event specific areas", which they are adding, but it's a separate category in addition to the regular zone they're adding.

they are adding an edification rank, that doesnt need any new zone to happen.

Kamihr was usually Magnate, Ra'Kaznar when applicable being Legend (but a few coalitions still have no Legend assignment).

That makes sense, I was thinking they could be waiting to reveal it but with less than a week to go that'd be burying the lead pretty hard.

I could see the white wyrm having something to do with the Naakuals, but I'm still betting the 7th is a dark-element Amorph. Some kind of king of the Umbrils, perhaps.

Extremely unlikely, the only involvement of those docks with the story so far is being assigned to greet that exorcist bitch when she gets recalled from the Middle Lands.

We didn't actually know if they were adding another coalition assignment rank until this announcement, so we didn't have anything to imply that there'd be a new full zone.

They say they have to set shops.
The sentence leads us to think that those shops will be in such a new zone, but they could also be somewhere else... it's very vague.

Also, it could also be a small shop-only zone like Celennia (that was a "new zone" too if you think about it)

Outer Ra'kaznar is probably the largest zone every created. It is very fucking huge. Most of it is inaccessible also(you can explore it with Clipper but half the zone has no mobs and causes glitches if you walk around in the blocked areas). If there's an Outer, suffice to say there will be an "Inner Ra'Kaznar" though it could be a small BCNM style area like Celestial Nexus/Stellar Fulcrum.

So far all of SOA can be done in like 1-2 hours, it's mostly just cutscenes, like 2 fights both of which are laughably easy. 95% of it is freakin cutscenes,it's worse than TOAU. Could they at least make fights as hard as a Difficult AA fight? Steamrolling it with Delve gear makes it so unmemorable. I kind of miss CoP/WoTG BCNMs as those fights were fun and challenging. Need more dungeon crawls with lv 125 true sight mobs leading up to a BCNM, like Promyvion but no level cap.

Just feels like the story missions are hollow/empty. I dont know how they can feel accomplished making 95% of them freakin cutscenes and the fights winnable with like 2 ppl.

    o.O
    But why should they?
    When did they ever?
There are several parts of the game meant for challenge, story clearly isn't one of those.
It's meant to be enjoyed by even the casualest of players.
Now I can agree making fights less boring would be good, but as much as Difficult AA? How do you expect a bunch of supercasual players to get through that lol?

Hmm is 110 additional accuracy going to be enough for pets? Given current pet accuracy is around 900, that's a 13% increase.

As someone said before and I quoted, even if it were enough, there would still be other (bigger?) problems in bringing pets in the currently hardest contest available, like their survivability for one.

consiering you need on some really evasiv stuff (hello delve 2.0 mandy) 900 accuracy as a melee +double madrigal + sushi to have a near caped hit rate, you will need some pet:acc gear to accomodate for that. this doesnt account for pet survivability, attack, or pet haste...

How big the total increase % is, is completely irrelevant. 110 accuracy could add 55% hit rate or it could add 0% if you are still on the floor.

It will make physical BPs more viable on some higher end content, but thats not really going to help anything if magic BPs still do more. Pets still won't be able to stay on mobs and really contribute with melee damage much better than before due to the fact they will likely die or get stuck with crippling enfeebles.

And then there is the problem that pet jobs have had on basically any content anywhere near their levels if they could hit things and that's pet pdif scaling so quickly destroying the dmg

Jugs are only 775-788 at ilvl 119. Even with another 110 (assuming they meant 110 accuracy) that wont even be enough to cap on all of delve 1 forget all the stuff they added since then. If you start taking out pet haste for pet accuracy then you are in the situation where you are eatting food which probably gimps the master to get a pet to hit really slowly and even than it will still only to hit things that are several ilvls lower than your pet. If they really want to address the majority of the harder content pet problem it's allow pets to get the same buffs as players

If there will be Pet: Macc food, then it's gonna be awesome for SMN though. Think about how easier it would become to stick debuffs, or get unresisted magical BP damage

we dont know yet how much accuracy the food gives to the master, I assume sushi like accuracy at least and antother version with red curry like attack, otherwise they might better not have been bothering with pet food... Imho the best solution would still be to let songs/rolls/geo-fart-bubble/sambas/magic effect pets.

One thing nobody is considering is the COST of these new foods.
If they turn out being like, what, 300k a piece, it won't be fun lol

pet survivability isn't a problem, their attack and accuracy being so ludicrously low is. even their base stats are pretty high, tiger has somewhere around 200 STR for example. unfortunately the potential cost of making this food and the fact that it's such a low potency makes it worthless, you'd never be able to use it to actually have the pet be able to DD effectively, so it will retain its place as a meat shield and this food will only be used by the uninformed who have nothing better to do with their money.

Incorrect, especially for SMN. Our avatars have such little HP that they die to a lot of things a normal DD would laugh at.

EDIT: Hell, one of the things in the SMN toolbox requires avatars to not die and not do anything. Avatar's Favor. I bet it would see a lot more use if they didn't die so damn easily.
