We used a 2-item comment system for Legion and it worked fine until we got tired of it.
As far as server population, well, I've been doing Puppet in Peril the last two nights (NA) with 5/6 linkshell members and we still have had to wait like 20 minutes for a 6th person to answer our shouts. If there were really good rewards for an 18-man event, I could see my linkshell pulling it back together and farming it. Otherwise, probably not going to happen.
I have a feeling that Phantom Gem fights were meant to release side-grades and anything that drops from there will eventually be outclasses by forthcoming endgame 18-man content. It's usually how it seems to work. Also I think they're going to be making a Meebles II or something.(Also there hasnt been a purpose for meeble boss drops yet over a year or two later -_-)
Sometimes...but on the NMs that resisted or were virtually immune to stun, one AoE would wipe out or disable half or most DDs if damage was slow and that would cripple or wipe your run.not really, stun sch rotation was still viable.
well we had allways 1 PT of melees and 1 PT of relic gun rangers and 1 PT of 3x SCH PLD RDM BRD. on 18 man runs on 36 runs we had 1 ally of rngs with sch pt and the other ally consistent of 3 melee PTs. or so, even if the melee pt wiped on those NMs that resisted stun, the rngs would get them down, usually tough melee Pts rarely wiped due to hybrid haste/PDT sets etc.
Actually meebz had some good rewards that are still relevant.
Weike Torque, Letais Mantle to name a few had a few other good pieces at 99 as well and it was relatively easy.
Kraken drks? the hell. @mul. Legion stunning was easier than delve stunning anyways.
Stunning was easy but I'm saying after embrava/PD nerf, could still wipe on 2nd wave against Mantis if stun was resisted which it often times would be if damage output wasn't high(which often times meant needed 99 Ukon/Vere/relic rng or ragnadrk/krakendrks)
What the fuck at kraken drks, no one used kraken drks. But no, stuns only resisted if you were awful. Also vastly overstating the DD requirements.
#Ophannus: didn't say there weren't any.
Seidr and Spaekona's Coat/+1 are incredibly unique pieces that totally change how you should be playing your nuking job. 10/10 would buy again.
The dev post specifically said these additions won't affect drop rates of existing items. They're just adding a brand new drop slot, much like they did back when they added ToAU relic armor to Dynamis.
Besides, it was ridiculous that the only way to get 119 automaton/avatar was a single drop in DM. That's basically a "weapon" for PUP and SMN, so it's hardly fair that a DM drop is required for them when there are so many ways to get 119 weapons for every other job (RME, Skirmish+2, non-DM high tier battlefields, Delve bosses, Delve v2 plasm, etc...) They could have just added new 119 animators/SMN ammos, but seems perfectly reasonable to me to just make the existing 119 piece more easily available.
tbh the droprate on them was pretty good in DMV2 compared to normal AA weapons - at least that's the totally biased oppinion I got.
