GEO empy armor is here, the other is augustine (but might as well be RUN empy?), but the blue hood one is definitly GEO empy armor. because:

Oh wow, I had only read up to the part where it took 3100 or whatever, didn't know they made the last stage take 9999 HP Baylds, holy shit lol
I probably have like 100 AMAN Vouchers saved up or something, never used them before. Guess I could cash those in.
Not sure how far you've progressed in the missions, but...
Spoiler: show
Ah coulda sworn Sajj'aka was the 7th Naakual. Technically he still could be given there are 8 elements. Sajjaka will probably be possesed or turn evil, there's no way they wouldn't make us fight him, he's definitely gonna betray us somehow or 'test us'. Even his name is more naakual-ish than "Deathborne Xol" unless "Deathborn" is his epithet like Flashfrost/Matriarch etc...
"Xol - The Deathborne Naakual" sounds like a more consistent format compared to the other 6 Naakuals I suppose-- that would be the dark based Naakual. Sajj'aka is probably the light based Naakual or guardian of the forest or w/e. Also if Rosulatia is the Queen of the Leafkin, I bet Siren is the queen of the Heartwings or something.

Not looking forward to the upcoming months of this game. Sure it will all be limited to groups with REM BRD, Aegburchain PLD, and relic RNG. SE is right in that they say it's the playerbase's problem by making set rules in order to do specific content...I think it really reflects on how 1337est the playerbase of FFXI have become (for a large majority of players).
Just don't enjoy the fact that there is hardly anyone to do content with. Sylph is pretty damn dead...
Psh who needs brd pld, rng strats just grab ergon runs and geo and some random melees!
You think Skirmish and whatever comes after it will require RME Plds and Rngs?
They've gotten better if anything since the initial batch of high tier battlefields. Gessho and Nexus are about the only ones where that strat even works all that well, all the others melee setups (or even magey setups for Lancelord!) are preferred. Even when Rng setups work, they're risky in the sense of a Rng pulling hate could lead to a quick wipe, plus TBH, kills are typically slower than melees. Between -DT sets, /Nin, using main Ninjas, and rolling with a Smn, the options are out there to run these fights differently and still be effective.
Post sounds like something off the official forums, "QQ the elitist won't let me play T_T."
I really want that GEO AF3. As far as increasing the ilevel, I don't really care. I don't see why people care if some gear gets dated, we still use 75~99 gear for some jobs... Like my BLU uses fast cast pants from arch-omega, and a loquacious earring etc.
3 new dev posts on the JP side (as of 2 hours ago):
1) Sange is going to be updated (they already said this), and you can throw up to 5 shurikens with Sange (I think we already knew this?)
2) Equipment declarations for an "elaborate set" may be similar to a normal macro? Mog Wardrobe is also designed to be scalable but they aren't sure whether the PS2 and X-box can take it if they add many more. Also, we may not be able to store our elaborate equipment sets on the server.
3) There is going to be a PUP/BST pet TP move buff in August (already announced). Target Marker is still not working in high level battlefields (I guess), but they're considering changing its effect so it works. They're going to adjust Tactical Processor at the same time (I think). Also, they're moving Haste II's priority over Stoneskin's for the RDM Automaton (I think).
Also a Camate Post on the NA side that:
Greetings,
Currently, the Stormwaker Y-700 prioritizes the buffs it chooses starting from the ones that protect the player first. However, we informed the development team about your suggestion for the priority of casting and they will be looking into prioritizing Haste II over Stoneskin.
Compared to other pets, automaton defense is already quite high and it’s also possible for them to apply Protect and Shell to further enhance their resilience, so the development team does not have any plans at the moment to increase their resistance against AoE.
Additionally as a side note, we’ll be looking into whether we can add other means for the Valoredge frame to generate enmity.
They think Automatons can cast Protect Shell on themselves.
Well they are right about valoredge's defense... but yeah that was dumb.
And then there was the outright dismissal of removing the antiquated idea of having different level caps for jugs but vague promises to sometime maybe release more jugs to make up for that and the fact that we only have a handle of pets that we can take to max level and that all but 2 of them are significantly worse than level 76-99 stuff at the same level. I mean it's kinda sad that if you don't need the acc a few ilvl 114 pets have significant advantages over 119 pets
Psh PUPs have deus ex automata and stalwart servant, repair is vastly superior to spirit link. On the other hand they need to reduce aoe damage for players who arent the main target. I miss back at 75 when every single aoe didnt do 80-120% of a player's Max Hp unless it was a move you could prevent or avoid like Spike Flail or Citadel Buster.

Cure IV, if macroed with Foire Pants and with Vivi Valve equipped, is more than enough for a lot of content. That's not the issue of Red Mage automaton.
No -na sadly sucks but can partially compensate that with "Eraser" attachment.
Kinda sucks that you only have 3 Light Element slots (iir?) so it's kinda tough to make choices there.
if we follow the geo empy armor picture, RUN empy should look something like this
http://www.ffcompendium.com/jobimages/5-sorcerer-a.jpg
GEO/RUN current AF/Relic design are complete new designs just for FFXI as it seems, while empy seems to hit on the nostalgia feel of older FF titles
You can't have Vivi-Valve in, or, I guess it's a choice between Vivi-valve and Eraser. I don't know if Eraser can't get rid of Petrify, but my automaton just refused to use it before.
I agree with that though, Cure IV was doing around 650+HP cured with just Foire before, which makes me angry at my Cure 5 happy WHM.
If you want RELIABLE cures you kinda need Damage Gauge too, or you're gonna be spamming those Light Maneuvers to receive a Cure when you really need it instead of the other over9000 spells RDM doll can cast.
Wish they could increase the elemental slots of automatons. The Light max slots kinda suck on any automaton, even on Soulsoother.
I'm fine with the max number of attachment limit, but the Light and Dark ones are a bit too tight for my tastes.
