PSO2 in my eyes has handled F2P much better than any other title I've come across but to each their own.

I think the LoL/Eve system is the best, where it's "f2p" in that you can obtain things you normally spend money in via a massive amount of in game currency.
IE if SE let us spend maybe like 15 million gil for another month's subscription or something like that. It'd require SE to seriously hammer down on all the people botting and cheating and abusing ways to make mountains of cash though, which is unlikely to happen. Hakuryus, selling wins for money, etc etc would all have to take massive hits before it would be viable to allow people to use gil in lieu of the cost of monthly subscription.
LoL has you spend money to unlock new characters, OR you can spend a mountain of in game currency instead. Buying alt skins for the characters can only be obtained via money though.
In other words, all game content is accessible, but you can spend real money to get it faster. Lots of cosmetic stuff is available for money though.
Hakuryu never was good gil per hour to begin with. Almost all day fishing to earn a salvage runs worth of gil lol. It was just popular because it was easier to bot than most farming and was all npc
farming salvage/dynamis isnt THAT much harder than fish botting in terms of effort, lol. selling wins to people who are willing to pay is far and away more respectable than either of those. youre generating gil through your abilities and skill. to say that taking the amount of gil you make into your own hands and being an entrepreneur of sorts is less respectable or less legitimate is tantamount to butthurt blaming.
Good thing no one said that.
the mog bonanza shows pretty strongly how nobody at SE can realistically appraise what items are worth. besides the whole hardly-worth-the-gil-and-inventory thing, the rank placements are a joke
They have been for some time now, nothing new about the bonanza. Kinda shocked Dring hasn't been bumped down to like a R3 or something.
Am I the only one amused that SE went out of their way to code up a restriction on two very specific trusts specifically to prevent a TIME PARADOX?* Although Excenmille and Young Excenmille differ in both appearance and actions, only one of them may be summoned at a time to prevent any potential time paradoxes.
It's not like summoning the young him in present times is going to somehow NOT break the universe...
haven't you ever learned time paradoxes 101
the specfic act of meeting yourself can lead to a paradox that destroys the universe
That's actually funny because...
Spoiler: show
Anyway, Rainemard eff yeah! Hope he has Haste II. Klara might be interesting since she was annoying to fight. Romaa will probably end up being mostly useless though.
Who cares if the alter egos meet? They're just magical manifestations.
LOL well said!
