Mug stealing HP? Hm, I guess a Chakra for THF although I doubt it will steal much HP. Probably going to be 10 HP per upgrade and at 30/30 it steals 300 HP lol.
Yeah that's what I mean by ja +enmity since most of it has been tested to be separate and multiplicative with gear though that raises all kinds of questions with sentinel JPs lol. Like is there already a +200 enmity cap (making there update probably pretty easy) that we don't know about that the JP allows you to go torwards similar to how aegis let's you go torwards the 87.5% one... or is a portion of it Ja enmity
Could be potentially good. 3% of max hp per upgrade. A JA that heals 90% of your hp every 5min isnt so overpowrred considering restoring breath heals like 2k every 60sec.
I think it's the same for some spells.
Long ago Animus spells were tested and it came out they counted as gear enmity.
I don't know about Crusade and the new NIN spells but I don't see why they'd be anything different.
Maybe part of the importance of this change, in their thoughts, was to make Crusade's +30 enmity more useful, but in the end it won't change much if it's "just" what they announced.
Actually it might make things harder for tanks to recover hate, like Priran said on the previous page, because the amount of enmity given by stuff like flash will represent a lower % on the overall level of enmity, no?
So yeah... I don't know what they're thinking.
They should have imbued other effects into Crusade, like lowering the amount of enmity lost over time and over damage. They wouldn't even had to create such an effect from zero because I think it's already in-game. There's that BRD song that nobody uses and sentinel (I think?) who have such an effect to some extent, no?
I tested crusade to be gear and SE mentioned that it and the nin spells would count as gear... but if sentinel counts as gear while most jas don't I wouldn't put it past SE to make some spells count as gear and some not lol. Though now that I think about it it might not be a ja thing... iirc all the jas that were tested to be separate from gear were buffs that were used up with the action. ie divine emblem, Equanimity, etc. So might just be things that provide a buff that stays up for time give a flat +gear enmity while ones that are applied to a single spell use a separate term
Also technically crusade does lower enmity loss from dmg thanks to the update they did to that. But yeah there is gear that specifically has that stat and sentinel when you merit guardian does that too though how exactly it interacts with +/- enmity now is hard to say. Testing CE loss is annoying enough as is which is probably why I don't think Foe Sirvente was ever really tested that much (plus screw giving up 5/5 N/T)
^ this.
Now if they ever allowed us to go 15/15 instead of 10/15 in group#2 the story would be different...
Dasva I know Paladin already has tools to reduce enmity lost over time/damage, to a certain (small) degree. I had more RUN in mind.
Especially because RUN doesn't really have a lot of + enmity gear aside from generic cross-job stuff (which isn't even much tbf).
In this sense, despite RUN/BLU being a beast at generating/keeping enmity (as long as Inspiration doesn't get dispelled...), I concur with Daman that there was no real need to remove the enmity from Rune use =/
if inspiration would be undispellable too or run would have 30 more enmity on their AF/Relic gear (insteaf of fucking only 4enmity on both set together) i wouldnt mind the rune enmity nerf. but now? get dispelled followed by a hate reset and you have hard time getting up there without inspiration. spamming important ja isnt the solution. for example i like to svae battuta for oshit situations (weakened tanking etc) or when i know the enemy is getting access to special tp moves (AAs below a certainHP as an example) or save valiance for when the pt needs protection (shadow lord 2. phase or an upcomeing known astral flow you know the element likw scnm 20 chapter 2). previously i could spam runes now... i have to pick carefully which Jas i dont want to have on timer and have ready.
5/5 nightingale is not such a big deal anymore, but I agree that I would like a job specific merit point expansion.
I think their reasoning was: "we want people to use Runes when they want to swap elements. We don't want them to spam runes mindlessly just to generate enmity".
In general I agree with this, but at the same time they removed something which was indirectly useful, without compensating it with something else.
They don't want to put enmity back into runes? That's fine. Give us something else then!
Inspiration indispellable is not going to happen =/ It would make sense to make it undispellable when Valiance is undispellable (i.e. when used with 3 runes up) but I don't really see it happening![]()
Ogapego Cape+1, Witful Belt and Veneficium Ring all together is 7%. Am I missing any?
Augmented Dalmatica +1, Moonshade earring, and Impatiens for 14%. I don't know where the last 1% is.
Even without instant casting everything, you really shouldn't have trouble getting through all your songs before Nightingale wears on BRD unless you're in a party from hell (mix of rangers, melee, paladin, and mages.
Body 3, back 3, waist 3, ring 1, earring 3, ammo 2= 15%
If you use your Moonshade on quick magic, you're probably brain retarded (or a mule).
No, even my mage mule has tp bonus.
Another 4 seconds of Nightingale? Just use it after Troub.
