Gods forbid they give us a tiny bit of capacity points! -_-
"We've been monitoring the situation and the rate at which players are obtaining Job Points is absolutely fine for us".
Thank you leechers and botters for giving in to SE's cruel ways instead of voicing out your complaints louder![]()
What is this in reference too? The May survey said they'd be making it easier to get capacity points. It didn't state how and I'm sure whatever it is will be lacking, but that doesn't really line up with your "quote."
Nonono sorry if it wasn't clear enough. My previous post was a silly joke, SE never said those words I put within "".
(not yet, at least)
Seems way too risky to bot, unless you have two bots keeping each other alive too
anyone haveing immense amoutns of lag/load times for EVERYTHING today?
Yeah, I am, barely managed to get my login points today. (We had all my nieces and nephews over so i didn't think it was a good idea for more than that. Been playing a copy of Chrono Trigger DS that I just got when I got the itch to seriously play.)
I'll check after dinner, hopefully it'll be cleared up by then.
New JP post about the change to BLU job points?
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...l=1#post521071
From google translate:
Item of job point of blue mage had to tell the previous events change Although it is "Learning probability up",
I will tell you the changed contents have been decided.
Version update of September, it is expected to change "physical system blue magic additional effect Shots up" this item.
For example, it is possible that the contents enemy to stun when you use the blue magic "Sadonranji" would go up.
additional effect accuracy
Yap guess it went from "Lolz" to "goddammit gotta JP more again on BLU..."
JPing on blu is one of the quickest jobs man, and i also had some fun with it... and i did this before the WS, erratic flutter and blu spell adjustments <_<
Besides we have the best JPs (arguably), its not really torture... (at least for me)
already brought learn rate to 10/10 in preparation. if the cap ever gets raised to 30, it might bring tourb from a 1 in 20 chance to land to a 1 in 3 chance to land! though 1 in 20 to 1 in 5 is already p good
It's probably something like MACC +1 for additional effects, so it'd probably bring it from 1/20 at 0/30 to 1/19 at 30/30.
I've noticed I haven't had much to read on this page lately... Is the core playerbase finally getting bored and burned out of mythic grinding?
I refuse to farm CP due to the fact that at some point they will make it easier - kind of like they've already been doing. The only time worth CPing is during those nice little campaigns.... Looks like I need points for BLU afterall![]()
Depends on if it was below the floor or not. Assuming just barely floored hit rate and only single resist state (which is the only way to get 5% land rate) 30 macc would raise it to 1/5. With spells with multiple resist states it would be more dramatic
That said since this sounds like it's only macc for additional effects I could see it being more than 1... especially on a job that doesn't really cast those kinds of spells in mage stat gear and a job that has merits that give 2 macc each.
I want to say that Physical Blue Magic's secondary effect magic accuracy was always based on "Magic Accuracy Skill" -- that is, the magic accuracy gained by mainhand weapons from your main hand combat skill. This was a stat that was always present but was invisible, many wondered why ilvl melee weapons have magic accuracy skill, it was used for calculating main hand magic accuracy for shit like Flat Blade's Stun, Wasp Sting's Poison and Physical BLU's secondary effects. That's why as a DRG/BLU at 75 cap I could land Sprout Smack's Slow on VT mobs with only like 130 Blue Magic Skill.
That being said, BLU has always had a fairly easy time landing secondary effects(unless they had a set small chance of procing like some of the UL spells or certain spells) since it was always a function of main hand skill. That aside, I wouldn't think BLU would have much trouble landing most secondary effects since they have 188 m.acc skill, except on mobs that are 128(IT++) until they release high m.acc skill weapons.
