Is it just me who's so lazy to get GP points these days?
Or is it that Cooking GPs are particularly more annoying than other professions? I remember when my main was Goldsmithing it wasn't such a pain to get GPs. I managed to get like what, 200k GPs? Which for a lazy non-grinder like myself is quite the huge amount of GPs.
We're talking about other times though, like 7+ years ago, game was much different back then... maybe I had more patience, I dunno =/
Maybe I'm biased but I seem to remember I didn't have all these issues buying or crafting stuff for Goldsmithing to get GPs.
With Cooking the stuff they ask from you is never on AH and not sold by NPCs.
It usually requires a gazilion of different ingredients, some of which are not even stackable, most of which are not sold by NPCs and you have to farm yourself in the field because they're not usually sold on AH either.
The rest you have to travel half vana'diel to buy and hope they're not on NPCs which require you to be first rank of a certain nation to be eligible to buy them or some shit like that.
Most of the times I just... don't even bother, the amount of time I would have to lose to do that thing kills my will to do it.
Maybe it's because I have so many other things to do, if I didn't have anything else to do maybe I'd just enjoy the activity? Maybe...
never have i seen such an aggressiv amount of campaigns from SE to get peopleback to sub on FF11
Honestly, I thought they were already kind of laying it on thick with all the back to back campaigns but this takes the cake lol. Can't wait to see what they do during the holidays.
I am moving on the 5th and new job starts 15th. For once I'll actually get to take advantage of one of these!
So happy I'll be able to get Luzaf! Was so upset for missing him last time.
No mumor =/ only pokemon im missing...
Super lackluster compared to last year's rewards. It's like they are pulling what Nintendo did with Club Nintendo Gold/Platinum Rewards. What a shame.
For anyone that doesn't keep tabs on the official forums, Unelonborro opened a mega thread topic for any localization-esque questions. I say esque cause they're actually pretty cool about branching out from localization and digging into other things. Unelonborro's been pretty much the most vocal when it comes to explaining things out, taking feedback, and finding things out. While I don't know how successful the thread will be, it might be something to keep your eyes on if you're interested in any technical aspects, or why they go about doing what they do sometimes.
Do people really consider 12.95 a lot of money? Just wondering... That's like a lunch or casually buying random crap in a month period. Never understood why people get hung up on that.
Not so much that $12.95 is expensive as much as it's pretty ironic how I spend $25 for 3 months of XIV while I pay that much (or, half as much since including extra accounts isn't fair) for 1 month of XI, a significantly older game. Just doesn't really make much sense.
It's not just that it's old, there's barely any resources going into FFXI anymore. Hardly seems fair (or smart at this point) to keep charging the original subscription fee when the game is on skeleton crew status.
How so? It gets updates every single month, which is more than a lot of other MMO's that aren't even near its age.
