Bans only happen on New Moon Darksday if the GM's desk is facing the right direction, but even then it's like 5% chance.
Granted, I'm feeling more like exploiting games with zero consequences is becoming more the norm in online gaming these days because $$$ from the cheaters is better than some sense of integrity.
Which makes me even more confused as why I still can't get unbanned for rmting that a 5 minute check would tell you didn't happen
Probably because that would require someone to do 5 minutes of investigating.
What kind of rampant botting do they mean? do people bot capacity points somehow?
CPs, Reives (skirmish pieces and HPBs), seen a lot of people complain about Boyahda Tree and Wisteria Lumber being a target, guess fish botting would get under people's skin if capped fishing gets a use someday, not botting, but can still get more alex then intended in Salvage, etc. Sure there's plenty more.
I was wondering why there was always a bunch of THF's running around murdering goobbue like it was 2005.
Don't NPC skirmish parts T.T. You'll get 3x their npc value if you sell in stacks on the AH... at least on asura. You might even find someone who is collecting lots of them to offload to quickly (I buy in bulk lol).

lol. "we couldnt find a way to make it so you keep your KIs, so we've added this bullshit lore reason that all your work is wasted"
Feels so bad to npc them... and not sure I'd call that good gil... but is nice along with the ones that ah and the other npcable crap and the balyd/sparks. But at least for the pieces you can I think it would almost be better getting some people together for balyd farming runs
Stacks are really hard to move over on bahamut even T1 stacks. Heck even singles are getting hard the market is so insanely glutted right now
group on asura reaches level 143, the NPC takes away their KIs and stuff with no bump to 144 because 143 is max, this happens
First off, the development team and the community team would like to congratulate your group on completing Incursion level 143. Well done!
The maximum level for Incursion is 143, which means you have completed all of the available levels and cannot go beyond this level.
At level 143, the NPC will take away all of your key items, but this is intentional. Since the Velkk are not a friendly race, they will retrieve the key items upon the completion of Incursion level 143.
We understand it’s a bit difficult to tell that you have accomplished the max level of Incursion and the dev. team is planning adjustments to the message displayed upon the retrieval of the key items.
We apologize for the confusion and again congratulations on clearing Incursion’s max level!
it isn't a big deal, but the reason is hilariously bad
on another note, wasn't Incursion supposed to be "infinite"?
If people are considering Wisteria Lumber farming good money these days then FFXI's economy is truly stable.
gj everybody we did it
Holy crap some of those job adjustments. Wonder if "The animations and animation lock for maneuvers will be removed" means removing the ja delay too or if it will just be a visual/movement thing. Blue spells look like they'll be pretty good. Yet another strong wind nuke. We'll see if any of the BP's besides hastega II are useful. The rages will probably beat out current options but the wards look kinda meh. If the TP bonus is large it will be pretty good for most ws. And if Soothing current lasts long enough it might be useful for non-WHMs. 1 hand main hand acc capping at 99% is interesting. And boosting some of the more powerful 1hand ws on top of the others is kinda lol. We'll see how potent things like CDC and Evisceration are after the update.
lol whatThe maximum accuracy of one-handed weapons equipped as the main weapon will be increased from 95% to 99%.
re: blu spells, none of them are interesting. sweeping gouge likely to be good based on the recast. unfortunate it's been changed to paralyze instead of def down, new one of those that's potent and actually lands would've been nice.
Bonuses for the following weapon skills that only applied at initial ranks will now be applied to all ranks.
what?
aside from that, nice to see those 1h weaponskills getting boosted. BLU gonna be even more ridiculous.
That's a really important aspect of the change. I'd lean towards yes, if only because AFAIK there isn't anything that causes a delay that doesn't also have an accompanying animation. If this works, maybe we'll see it spread to other jobs that could make great use of it, such as Dnc, for just Steps maybe.
The accuracy changes are really strange. Makes me wonder what their vision exactly is for 2 handed vs 1 handed. Back when 2 handed was a bad joke, it was due to dual wielding not only providing more damage per round, but also due to attack delay being able to go lower than 2 handed could with the buffs we had available. Since we aim to cap accuracy on all content we do, what kind of DPS shift can we expect from 1 handed DDs having 99% main hand accuracy? Would it be enough (ignoring Sam self SC shenanigans) to put them ahead of 2 handed DDs? After the previous WS buff, it's hard to imagine things being even further buffed. Maybe we need to walk into this update expecting everyone of those WSs to be retarded strong.
Ranks? the hell does that mean? Can we get a re-translation of the JP texts here?Bonuses for the following weapon skills that only applied at initial ranks will now be applied to all ranks.
