At first I'd assumed that it meant the bonuses from TP will apply to every hit, but that makes no sense since, for CDC anyway, that already works. Maybe fTP transfer or something

Yeah what's the ranks thing? Can anybody translate from japanese?
Rudra's Storm is getting furtherly buffed TWO times.
First the potency will be increased, then the TP Bonus will be increased.
Wonder what they mean for "Potency" then...

Hope NIN can finally get a good WS, yes I said good, not an unreliable one like Blade: Hi (which is getting furtherly buffed anyway).
I'm pretty curious to see in which position will Blade: Shun and Exenterator stand after this patch.
Ruinator should produce pretty nice results too now. Go go BST DD? xD

Anybody noticed the Avatar changes? They aren't fixing the old BPs, but some of those are nice ones for sure.
SMN really starting to get a nice position as a mixed hybrid buffer/attacker/secondaryhealer.

I can't believe they removed the JA delay (global cooldown) from PUP's maneuvers... bet it's just a ja0wait thing. Which is nice don't get me wrong, but I can't believe they're removing the delay.
Btw, where does H2H falls now? It's not 2hand, and it normally used 1hand rules. But H2H WSs didn't get buffed up and what's gonna happen with the 95>99 accuracy? Will H2H get it too?

Yay at PUP and smn buffs. I do wonder if that new food to increase familiar accuracy translates to other pets as well.

They specify all the types of pet right after they say "familiar"

They also said 3 things for the 1H WSs:
    1) The potency of the following weapon skills will be increased
    2) The TP Bonuses for the following weapon skills will be increased
    3) Bonuses of the following weapon skills that only applied at the initial rank will instead apply at all ranks.

#2 is the clearest to interpret. It means they're buffing the fTP. If they're buffing the fTP in #2, then #1 is likely a stat modifier buff. If not, then #1 indicates the 1000TP fTP point and #2 is 2000/3000 fTP points. #3 is the mysterious one, but I'd bet they mean that using Gorget/Belt will be added to all hits instead of only the first. I strongly doubt that the entire fTP will replicate like current WSs, would be an 80% increase in damage for Chant, Rudra's Storm would be good unstacked, etc.

But some of the WSs in group #1 already have 100% stat mod. Surely they cannot mean bringing it further above 100%? o.O
Either way I'm sad Blade: Shun is not in group #3

I guess #3 could also be creating a new class of WSs where "Increases weapon skill damage" propagates through all the hits.

But some of those WSs don't have "increases damage with TP" effect, unless they're gonna change it.

Blade: Ku has accuracy, Exenterator has debuff, CDC, Vorpal Blade, Evisceration and Rampage have crit rate, Pyrrhic Kleos has debuff, etc.
Using those WSs with more than 1000TP doesn't directly affect their damage atm.

I always assumed the +crit already propagated to all the hits, likewise for the accuracy effect, and for the debuff ones it doesn't matter.

It's clearly not the TP bonus that they're talking about in #3. Pyrrhic Kleos's TP bonus is additional effect duration (orz._.) It's likely either going to be that gorget/belt will affect all hits instead of just the first (but first-hit fTP won't replicate) or that "Increases weapon skill damage" will affect all hits similar to the mythic WS bonus.

Gorget Belt bonus propagating to all hits could be... I dunno, good maybe for some WS, but at least for the belt slot we already have some good options so I don't know a +0.1 on the following hits would be better than such options.
I like the WSdamage propagating to all hits even less. I don't think I have WSdamage gear for many of my jobs on many WSs.

Either way both hypothesys sound like minimal change compared to the other announce ones.
Anybody managed to check the JP text to see if it's clearer on #3?

    Edit:
Why one or the other btw? Could be BOTH (wsdmg AND ftp from gorget/belt).
If we literally read that sentence it talks about stuff that previously affected only the first hit, now affecting all hits.
Wsdmg and gorget/belt both fall into this larger category, there might be even more bonuses that we can't think of atm.

Letting gorget/belt propagate would be a 10-20% increase in damage for all of the listed WSs except Chant (and Savage Blade at >1000 TP).

After considering it some more, I bet it actually is this:
    1) 1000 TP fTP point will be increased for -- OR -- Stat modifiers will be increased for:
Dancing Edge / Shark Bite / Evisceration / Mercy Stroke / Mordant Rime /
    Pyrrhic Kleos / Rudra's Storm / Vorpal Blade / Savage Blade /
Knights of Round / Death Blossom / Expiacion / Rampage / Calamity /
Mistral Axe / Decimation / Onslaught / Bora Axe / Ruinator / Blade: Jin /
    Blade : Ku / Blade: Metsu / Blade: Kamu / Blade : Hi / Blade: Shun /
    True Strike / Judgement / Hexastrike / Black Halo / Randgrith /
Realmrazer / Exenterator / Chant du Cygne

    2) 2000/3000 TP fTP will be increased for -- OR -- 1000/2000/3000 TP fTP will be increased for:
    Mandalic Stab / Rudra’s Storm / Savage Blade / Expiacion / Calamity /
Mistral Axe / Blade: Ten / Judgement / Black Halo / Mystic Boon

    3) Bonuses restricted to the first hit (like +100 Acc, some Attack bonuses, some forms of WS damage+%, etc.) will propagate through to all hits on these WSs -- OR -- First-hit fTP will propagate through to all hits on these WSs
Dancing Edge / Evisceration / Pyrrhic Kleos / Vorpal Blade / Swift Blade /
    Rampage / Decimation / Blade: Jin / Blade: Ku / Hexastrike / Exenterator /
    Chant du Cygne
There were always rumors that Exenterator had a substantial Attack bonus that was restricted to its first hit. Also, the +100 Acc would fit well with the "main hand hit rate -> 99%" changes.

If fTP transfer is a thing, CDC's damage serves to increase by approx. 71.4% before multihits, putting it in Fudo territory before even considering potential fTP and crit rate boosts. Lawdy lawdy.

edit: according to JP buddy and cross referencing with similar posts (i.e., ones from way back when they added resolution), it looks a lot like fTP transfer. doesnt it seem odd that theyd omit so many of the weaponskills if it were acc/atk bonus transfers? also note that none of the WSs with existing fTP transfer are included.

Rudra's Storm FTP at 3000 being furtherly increased sounds kinda broken lol
Would make Stacked Rudra break universes xD

both CDC and Exenterator are listed out of place in those lists. strikes me as peculiar.

If they want to make Pyrrhic Kleos's fTP transfer, that's A OK with me. it'd be at least a 40% increase in WS damage for it. The reason I doubted that would be the case is the inclusion of Rampage, which has a 0.5 fTP first hit. I guess they might buff the first hit (per point #1) and then make it transfer. If #1 is referring to stat modifiers, though, then it wouldn't make sense still.

would bet a fair amount of money that I don't have that it means this:

    1) Depending on which weaponskill, fTP and/or WSC boost

    2) TP modified stat (crit rate, fTP, durations, whatever else) boosted at 2000/3000

    3) fTP transferal to all hits

maybe just being hopeful. I want the limelight damn it!

edit: #2 would just be fTP I guess, none of the listed WSs have durations, crit rates, etc., only fTP boosts for higher TP

I'm kinda thinking they mean ftp in general is the bonus and ranks are anchor points. Ie those 1 hd ws that didn't have dmg varies with tp now will have dmg varies with tp or at least the crit ones

So are we going to regress to an era where NIN/WAR, WAR/NIN are top DD now and 2handers are crap? Now that all the special 2h bonuses(STR:Attack/DEX:Accuracy, A+ skill buffs) have been carried over to 1h weapons and that 1h weapons now can surpass acc cap, will 2h weapons fall behind? Will BLU/THF/DNC/NIN/WAR be the preferred DD with DRK, DRG and Gaxe WAR falling behind? The major benefits of 2h weapons were supposed to be higher acc/att/damage because dual wielders receive stats from both weapons which are usually far greater than 2h+grip. Now 1h have greater acc which is going to be hugeeeeeeeee for dps especially with idris and multihit weapon skills for 1handers.
