    It's imbalanced because thf already brings a ton of utility to the table with treasure hunter. Getting so close to a Sam dd wise on top of the huge powerful ability that is treasure hunter is just broken, and needs to be fixed!!!!

    (edit: now with more exclamation marks. Come on guys, this isn't alla.)

    They better not nerf Rudra's and just leave it as is. I mean is it really that bad to leave it as it is now?

    As a THF...Rudra's is broken. It's nice and all, but it's just too much all at once. Nerf Rudra's and Fudo.

    TH was never a good reason to keep thf lol for so long. TH doesn't help you clear content or do more dmg, so "balancing" thfs DD output because TH doesn't make sense. And remember anyone can bring TH3-4 to an event by having a th belt / ionis / /thf OR up to TH7 if a ranger is present (and persistent). If anything the utility Thf brings is hate control with TA /accomplice/collaborator, and rangers can do this fairly well also on top of all their other advantages that thfs don't have.


    And as others have said sam still wins the parse with ws frequency and sc dmg by a fair amount.

    Fudo+ sc dmg boost is pretty what convinced me this game is doomed; they will just overpower us and we'll never get another delve 1

    Yeah sam skillchaining is insane now. Even if thf could spam a bit higher ws dmg than sam at the same rate sam would win anytime skillchaining is relevant which is basically anytime there aren't too many DDs on the mob. Which just leads to setups with more buffer/debuffs and completely devalues the things they've done to make magic dmg relevant on top of other DDs. And apparently SE thinks there is nothing wrong with that.

    Well, THF can just hang out until the SAM makes Darkness and layer on a 3000 TP SA Rudra's for 50k WS + >100k Darkness. It's clearly the most efficient option if your group is coordinated enough to skillchain.

    I've seen Unity NMs lose 50% HP in a single skillchain.

    i have given up on magic dmg ever getting relevant or close to melee dmg after the recent 5 months. Unless they give us nukers atomic fart bombs nothing will change compared to how buffed melees are now.

    I remember one guy in the OF saying we should given nukers the ability to do magian trials and put a full trial affinity on things like armor and accessories... at this point it doesn't sound too crazy and is in fact probably too little too late

    I've still got hopes for a magic damage buff. But I don't think they can actually fix it. It'd be broken as hell with the FC/haste values we can hit to just walk around throwing around 20-30k nukes. And if they gated it behind massive MP costs, it's usefulness wouldn't really improve. Best case scenario, they embrace a 2 DD (hell, maybe they even fix tanking and tank, healer, 2x DD, 2x support becomes the go to party) setup with SCs and they buff MBs immensely IMO.

    I know... give T3 a T1 skillchain property, T4 a T1 and T2, give T5 a T2 and T3. Eliminate interruption due to dmg increase the amount of distance you have to change to interrupt too

    Translated the two "important" dev posts. There were some other minor posts about how they handle bug reports, some response to feedback about the chat windows, and them telling someone they have no plans to adjust Goblin Diggers and Chocobo Digging.

    The 14th Freshly Picked Vana'Diel didn't say much. January is mostly just stuff they pushed back from December, and in February they're planning on adding Alluvion Skirmish, new Job Points, new Gifts, and some Mog Garden expansions. For the future they're thinking of adding some kind of Heroine's Combat, Adoulin Edition.
