Makes sense, then again, im gaining around 8 slots in my wardrobe from this update. You think its possible that the satchel acted as the wardrobe? I would love them long time if this was implemented.
I see your point with the items usage being conditioned, i dont think its that bad in all honesty, besides, cant think of anything like that earring in the current gearsets, and only cause its a copy of the old one, are you talking about obi's and the velkk head?
About item acquisition approach, well merits and 50K accolades suck to get, however, i enjoy blasting fodder in the face and being able to do them at any time with shouts and pick up groups, considering i live in Australia now and most of my friends are in the European/US time frame.
My main concern (not that anyone asked...) is that the battles are not very engaging, and after that the popping coffers part, specially after doing a lot of incursion /cringe... Id rather watch grass grow... we need more content, like delve or eco-warrior and non-tent skirmish, more records of eminence for me to squander time, seriously though... someone help me, i just did all missions on my mule, not a different account, the same one my main is in <.<

My "wut" was based on one guy saying "is it cool that our autos have infinite mp due to the ADD trick?" and then the second guy saying "halp my auto is running out of mp".
Also they added jse SAM body last run which was made from CoP materials, wouldnt mind seeing other JSE bodies added from that era, i.e an ilvl barone corazza and an ilvl noble's tunic.
In other words: it's a problem that wouldn't exist in a world were there is no ADD trick. But since mage automatons DO have mp issues and since you HAVE to use the ADD trick to make using mage automatons viable, you run into the unavoidable consequence of them wasting precious time (and mp) casting prot/shell on themselves each time you deactivate/activate them.

I apologize, I was thinking about accession. Global reasoning behind still stands though, they do waste mp each time you ADD because of what's written above.

I was thinking about many items (Mekira-Oto, Ninja AF feet, etc). Generally stuff with powerful buffs that only activate during certain days/weather/time.
I think what personally annoys me is items' utility being ruled by factors over which I have absolutely no control upon as a player. This goes for time of day, certain days only, and arguably weather too, to a lesser degree.
It was different for, say, Ele belts and Ele Gorgets, partially Ele obis as well (Helix).
The big difference here is maybe that with Belts/Gorgets you have the inventory strain, but in spite of that you have control, if you have them all.
With the example of this earring instead, I have no control because there is no "from dawn to dusk" version, just the "from dusk to dawn" one.
It wouldn't annoy me if it were that way, I guess.
Either way, I understand I'm being OCD about this and I'm probably one of the few who doesn't like this item design model.
ADD on pup had another exploit day one where you could use it to bypass RNG auto delay causing it to shoot immediately after being summoned. Made for faster skill ups until SE patched it.
Quick question. Are any of the Wanted NM's based off of an NM that is forced popped? If not, then that would give us clues as to future Wanted NM's leaving ones such as the Unstable Cluster off of the list. Also, it seems with the exception of Riverene Site A/B and dungeons, CoP is done and ToAU NM's could be next. If they continue this trend, I would love to see them bring back the Fomor NM's in WoTG and have them drop ilvl Aern weapons.

The game classifies any zone you can cast escape in as a Dungeon.
I agree with people saying they prefered single target Pro/shel thoughl. I'd rather the puppet not have it than me cause I left it away from the mob for strategic reasons and the piece of junk casts aoe on itself.
True... well if we are going by the criteria of WotG non dungeon non popped nms for wanted probably excluding campaign/mission ones as well then I'd love to see ilvl/updated Birdbanes, Ixion stuff (because dnc needs a dagger too), Saurian Helm, Atesh pole, Tsugumi, Courser's Pugio , the ring/earring sets, Thunderer's mantle for the lulz, Pallas's Shield, Hightail Bullet, lyft set (though I think some of them are force popped). Technically a dungeon though lots of outdoorsiness so maybe allowable but would love some of the stronghold nm drops. All those fun weird dumb sets were interesting and you can tie it into a high level stronghold invasion BC!
I don't get why they had to choose one for red mage automaton, and the other for Soulsoother.
Couldn't soulsoother have access to both and use -ra only when at least 2 people need protect, and single target when only a single one needs it? They make it sound like it's one or the other. Can't it be both?
Puppets have always had the worst AI. Fellows for all their limits are much better at casting spells than puppets. And Puppet masters have always had the least control over their pet out of all the pet jobs. Every pet job but pup can control exactly when a pet uses a tp move/breath/ BP but puppets do it when they feel like it. You can use maneuvers and attachments to try to strongly suggest a puppet do this or that but it's nothing I'd consider as "control." And yeah, even with 0 control over trusts they are way better than puppets at doing what you'd want them to.
I like the Unity System, I do. It's basically a whole extra aspect to the game tacked on, had a few items I wanted to get, and now I can use accolades to turn into money, or simply help friends. It all works out.
That said, too many shit items come from it. Some of the fights have the "potential" to be hard, mostly if you're playing with idiots, cape terrigan NM if it gets all 4 stormwinds off and healer misses a beat can be really harsh, 4th once can do 1000-1300 to everyone, and largantua I've seen AOE a group to hell too. But the proc system and a decent healer negates that difficult rather easily for other people. They need to start offering more ilvl 128ish content, but with 2-4x as much HP, and a bit more danger to tanks. Basically I haven't seen a Unity NM able to harm a PLD at all aside from crystal weapon on Largantua, and so if you have a PLD even if all other things go poorly, the PLD will live and you can easily raise up in time to finish the damn thing off even with that 15min timer. That's absurd. It should take a "good" group 5 minutes minimum, IMO.
And the gear should be better, each item should be an upgrade for at least one job in some viable situation, which would net two potentially useful items from each NM. I think only Largantua and Dagger/Staff roc fit that right now, out of the like 20~ Unity NM's. They don't need to be huge upgrades, but upgrades, damnit.
On another note, is anyone really hoping they announce new JP categories soon? I know they're coming, and so frustrated there's no information on them.
