Leech? You mean dhokmak, the salamander thing? If so I think that model actually came from ffxiv.

Yeah figured it was dark what with him being an undead and all and dressed all in black and having dread spikes and absorb spells and dark related attacks etc. Interesting note but Sepulcher does work on him. Holy circle too though that is a little less obvious
well I mean, he is undead, so.. not too far of a stretch
True just sometimes SE has this funny habit of making some nms sorta a mob type and sorta not. Like how shinryu isn't effected by anti dragon stuff even though he clearly is or nothing in dynamis is
Provenance watcher wasn't a dragon either, can't let those drg jas ever be useful lol.
I'm half-expecting a Delve III in Ra'Kaznar [U] with amorphs (Rala)/undead (Outer Ra'Kaznar)/arcana (Inner Court), with the mega bosses being different versions of Balamor, the salamander thing, and the other Xol.
I dunno bout you guys but i read this as What's NEW: Weapons from OLD A-Skirms can now have 3 augs. and All New Armors in NEW Skirmish. I dont read it as OLD weapons dropping in NEW Skirmish. It wouldnt mention the words "Old Alluvion Skirmishes" if they dropped in the new one.But what good is battle content without some juicy rewards? In this version, players can find weapons available in the old alluvion skirmishes—but they can be engraved with up to three types of arcane glyptics at a time. All-new armor also makes an appearance, with, again, up to three types of arcane glyptics that may be engraved at once.
You forgot to bold "In this version", which changes the entire meaning of that sentence. They're specifically saying that weapons that are available in old alluvion skirmishes can be found in this version of skirmish.
i bet they'll release delve 3 and then they'll release a new legion chamber with wave 1 being delve 1 bosses, wave 2 delve 2 bosses and wave 3 final delve boss.
i can dream ok
I think it was meant to say version update... But even reading it your way, makes it sound to me like you have to get weapons from new alluvian skirmish to put a 3 glyph on them. Old ones wont work (cause it says the word "but" indicating they would be different.)! Either way, If they put old weaps in new skirm nobody would do old skirm. plus im sure it would make the new armors drop less if weapons also dropped. If non alluvian skirms are a pattern they might base it on tho, I would think they want you to use skirms as a path to upgrade an item to the best version. rala/cirdas: get weapons => yorcia: get armors/upgrade weapons => outer raz: upgrade weapons/armors. I really think they just phrased it in a stupid way. I guess we will find out soon though.
I don't think there will ever be a Delve 3 tier and a 7th WKR fight hopes died with the announcement of the Xol fight... Like... 5 months ago.
And since that's a thing that's gonna happen...
Pretty sure it's going to be the "epilogue quest" that each expansion has.
RotZ and CoP has Apocalypse Nigh.
ToAU has the 18th or so Odin win and the 2nd Alexander win.
And WotG just got one with the Lilisette Trust/Atomos fight.
I'd like it to be a WKR style event, but chances are it'll be a singular BCNM geared toward a 6man group in full spark gear...
As for WKR-style: KI entry, various drops, server wide participation, personal evaluations.
But that'll probably not be how they do it.
Most likely it'll be a 1shot fight were you get a second ring upon completion. (Cause going through the trouble of making a secondary bonus would be just dumb when you can give what everyone wants by a second ring.)
Maybe they'll go crazy with it though... And instead of hearing it for 6man in spark gear... They'll gear it for 18man in spark gear, no variable HP, and just have no body demand for an entry requirement...
If it's made for 18 people in shitty noob crap gear... Then a small group of decent to well geared players should have no issues low manning it.
It could even be challenging.
Looks like they're going to finally adjust the 3 wyrm repop timers, but just Tiamat was specified. Time frame can't be given.
Also, JP friend mentioned in the new mogi-vani (fresh pick vana video) Matsui's son telling him enough with these double campaigns and just make it permanent, fucking lol.
Edit: 40:00 or so, Matsui quotes his son.
Edit again: Ahahaha, they mentioned my JP friend at 1:07:00 because she won rank 1 and took the Judgment Day furnishing. Before anyone rages, she's fucking loaded on gil, and doesn't care to build a mythic or whatever on a mule. Still funny they mentioned her, but Mocchi comments there's a secret story with Judgment Day. He wanted the dev team to add the painting, but they told him basically "it doesn't exist in this world and there's only one, they don't want many people to even have it", so he was forcibly made to add it as a rank 1 prize, and why it's so hard to obtain.

Matsui's son plays FFXI and demands stuff from his father on the official forums?
Sounds like someone is in for an epic roasting lol.
Regardless, they should make it permanent, they should allow to convert merits into JP (even if it's a bad rate like, I dunno, 45 merits for 1 JP) and they should continue with double (4x the current amount!!!) campaign, but less often of course.
Then, THEN I might call myself satisfied.
Edit:
Oh and another couple of camps as good as the Bats one pretty please. I'm spoiled, can't exp anywhere else once you've tried that![]()
I'm glad I haven't bought Herald's Gaiters yet if they are planning on changing Tiamat. >.> I almost have a few times.
Totes 100000000% agree on the double campaign still being a thing (and thereby being a 4x what we have now).
And it's not that I disagree with the merit conversion... just that... I don't think it's needed, per se, if 2x becomes the standard.
For example just with this past... weeks? I honestly can't remember how long this campaign lasted... and my statement holds the caveat that I was not on SMN EVERY day... just a lot of them.
And just from doing the "kill 30 things" RoE on SMN most days during the campaign, I got 5 JPs.
5JPs without trying over a week or so... That's a reasonable amount.
Assume ONLY doing that for JUST the 30 daily... It'd only take 11 weeks to cap a single category.
And that's the absolute minimum of minimal effort toward JPs... If you actually put effort in to it (+cap abilities and armor) PLUS the gifts PLUS the Uragnite cheer... (and a possible 2nd or more cheers)
Then I think that would be good enough.
Obviously I'm not gonna say "no! never have a conversion!" cause.... all the help the better.
But just 2x 100% of the time with the extremely occasional 4x... I think that would be enough so that even the most casual of players will get up there in JPs.
Thank the Lord and Savior Aizen that we're gonna have 2x the standard.
Maybe the 2x event can be part of the yearly anniversary event pileup of madness?
Not needed at all, but it would help making so Merits feel less useless, and like you're "wasting" less stuff, sitting there with 45/45 capped merits and nothing to do with them.
Dunno, it's just a psychological thing more than a practical one, but I think it would create a positive vibe for players.
They just need to add more phantom gem battles. Diabolos, bahamut, promathia, zeid/orc/ace cardians, purple is the new black, etc. they can do bahamut v2 as a DM style phantom gem too.
Even that will only do so much... you cap merits so fast now
Exactely. While I wouldn't mind more high level BCs, they have limited time attractiveness, and I'm kinda tired of the sidegrades/downgrades we (mostly) got over the last added BCs.
Something like being able to convert merits into JP, even at awful rates like 45merits for 1JP, would be a very small thing, but would hardly ever lose its relevance through time.
