I think we had like two LS-coordinated activities after Yorcia came out because Delve wasn't even worth doing anymore. My service account is still active, but I'm just wasting money at this point and probably will cancel this month.

The most recent updates seem to have added some exciting new content, but I doubt I have anyone to go back and do that content with, and yes, I've been playing 14 and I don't really have time for both. I do really wish these recent updates had happened earlier, but alas. I still follow the updates because I'm interested to see where the game's going, and I'll probably come back at some point as they advance the storyline of SoA some more so I can see it through to the conclusion, but I don't really see myself playing regularly again. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's in this kind of situation.

As far as translating stuff goes, I haven't really played through any XI content since a few weeks after the release of XIV, but I've still been check the dev posts and translating the important ones. I really burned out last week on translating because I spent an enormous amount of time translating those various Yoshida press interviews, so I didn't bother to check the XI stuff at all.
Come to Leviathan! We do stuff all the time.

Most of what I can tell from the cities is that Home Point #1 is the original HP crystal, so that leaves me with a 50/50 of getting the other one. Though some of these seem completely pointless. Bastok Markets, crystals basically on each end of the AH. Mines has one added right by the Mog House, which has me questioning how lazy they think we actually are (along with the ones added in Jeuno.)

Took the words out of my mind. I've been logging in only for log in points and leveling up Mog Gardens for titles. Then I realized how dumb and pointless this was, like wtf am I doing?

Yeah, making a 119 gungnir would leave a bad taste in my mouth too. Has to feel bad.

Not bitching, just saying some indication of where the 3 HP's are would have been nice. Could it have been so hard to add some kind of marker on the menu as to what HP corresponds to what?

    Southern San d'Oria
    Home Point #1 (West Ronfaure)
    Home Point #2 (Auction House)
    Home Point #3 (Mog House)

    Port Jeuno
    Home Point #1 (Sauromugue)
    Home Point #2 (Guide Stone)

    Bastok Markets
Home Point #1 (South Gustaberg) ok its not quite there, so a (F-9) or (near fountain) could suffice too.
    Home Point #2 (Auction House)
    Home Point #3 (Mog House)

Would that really break the dialog table?

Actually, when you map it out like that, it starts to make sense. Is HP 2 always the auction house in all zones that have an AH one? HP 1. All the Jeuno zones are 1 @ the signet npc 2 @ Guidestone.

its just that most people won't bother to remember all of them..

i think the (where it actually is) is useful for zones with more than 1 Home Point, which is to say, the 3 main cities and Jeuno. Windurst Woods could definitely use with some indication since it has 4 home points.
I was hoping they did one for Whitegate too because thats one of the zones that needed it most.

I believe Stellar Fulcrum and Celestial Nexus are next as they found these in the dats..

    Shadow Lord phantom gem
    Celestial Nexus phantom gem
    Stellar Fulcrum phantom gem

my guess is they're adding hard versions of Shadow Lord, Kam'lanaut and Eald'Narche.. which seems kinda obvious I guess.

places like Bearclaw Pinnacle / Mine Shaft / Promy Spires / Talacca / Navukgo / Jade Sepulcher / etc could all use with some form of easier access.. but I'm guessing that they'll only expand on home points out of town when new content reaches more battlefields..

Crystal-tele makes progressing in WotG much easier. I started back up on Mission 15 on my mule last night. I'm on Mission 41 right now.

SE can definitely do away with the wait 1 game day thing to make things absolutely perfect.

    edit: nvm forgot about founts
edit: also fix Raustigne and Lions Springs Tavern not showing during campaign

It would have made more sense to name them similar way the Waypoints have been named, instead of numbering them.

If anyone hasn't noticed, the LS Comm Site is back in action finally. Must of taken them a very long time to find someone who remembered how to program that thing.

Relating to the homepoint #s, I see it as the higher the number ie, 2, 3, the closer you are to your mog house entrance.

These were already translated, but I might as well:
    Spoiler: show
They're making HPs default to "transport" instead of "set HP".

    Making Trust AI less dumb.
-Making both tanks and attacker Trusts do more damage
    -Making cures/buffs/etc outside battle
-Doing some thought to adjusting what WSs they use, the idea was to make each one use specific ones so you could pick and choose what you wanted for a battle
-They're not sure how to adjust Trusts to be mage-friendly if you dont want to engage close-up, if they make them act like summons they think it would just be annoying when they automatically engage aggroing monsters
-Nanaa Mihgo has TH1 (amg, even less reason to multibox)! Some people want Nanaa to dual wield but they said they want to add more trusts as a priority first. (Doesn't Nanaa only use one dagger in the lore anyway?)
-Trusts don't move with you through waypoints, they're working on it
-Might make Faith magic unique to its own spell-list, some people think it gets in the way
-Weapons out at all times otherwise it disrupts the flow of battle
-Considering making it so you can call Trusts in PT

    Newer ones:

Fellows: People want them to go beyond level 95, but:
    1. If people want a meaningful quest out of it instead of the filler magian crap they were given past Clash of the Comrades, you need to consider they have to make dialogue tables for every race/gender/personality you chose and that doesn't run well with the other stuff they need to do (main story etc)
    2. They could just do a magian quest sort of thing but since the fellow's about to hit 99 they want to do something special with it if they could

They want to raise the normal attack power (including D) of Summons, they mentioned something similar to this regarding jug pets. They are discussing adding it in the January update.

Afterglow progress carries over even if you reforge while in the middle of one- he says the trial number will change but your progress will carry over. I actually didn't know that.

They can't promise adding names to home point transport because its a bit of work to translate it to other languages and program it (wat). However, they'll make the menu a bit less annoying by letting you select the region first, and then the area, so you don't have to scroll through a gigantic list as much. Estimated for February.

Re: Multihits and 500 damage. The decision was made to count an entire WS as just 1 hit, because they wanted to include people who weren't geared as well being able to hit that number. If they made it so that it calculated each separately (IE 2-hit 1000 damage = 2 credits) some people might not be able to hit it.

The Trust system changes sound really great. Nanaa Mihgo having TH is pretty kickass.

Nice. Avatars need a big base damage boost to help physical BPs catch up to magical. It might also help their melee DPS not be total shit.

as far as Trust NPCs go i sure do hope they favor lore over 'what people want'. I'm sure they can add a DNC alter-ego or someone else who dual-wields daggers so that Nanaa doesn't have to. Its good they're revealing some of this stuff, because it isn't obvious and is annoying to test.

I like how in the current system every alter-ego basically only seems to use like 3 set WS. Its a varied mix... we'll probably see a lot more Sword WS cos a lot of them are Sword users. Nanaa is apparently the special child of the lot thus far, seeing as she has her own weapon skill. Zeid's 2 moves appear to be TP moves and probably don't skillchain.

The mage thing definitely is a problem, altho lately all i do is just melee for staff skillups lol. I suppose a simple Sic / Retreat command feature would be useful for mages.

They should just remove the requirement of actually taking a swing, so they'll go in as soon as you engage, regardless of range.

Additionally, they have some plans of adding higher tiers of the goal like 1000-damage hits.
1000+ Damage (X/150) already exists. It's a 1 time quest. Do they mean to make it repeatable?

My mistake, I believe it actually says something about how its hard to program someone concurrently taking both 500+ and 1000+ at once and having them both count each hit separately at the same time. That, along with wanting to help people with lower level gear is why they decided to go with this plan for now.
