Is it possible to edit dialogue tables? May do it myself if so since SE isn't going to.

I dont really see why not, since its not like SE ever tracked for dat editing. I dont think that has ever been done though.
Meh meleeing on mages isnt so bad now. Attinan staff has redicilous base dmg and staff skill, on random ilvl110 mobs i can spirit taker for 700-900 for all of my mp back or myrkr. Whm or club users can mystic boon for a ton or realmrazer for a few thousand dmg too im sure
I don't really mind trust NPCs not engaging till you melee, since that's what fellows and wyverns do. But I wish kupipi etc would cast outside of battle similar to fellows, it's annoying for her to try to cast protectra V over and over again when fighting weak mobs that die before the spell goes off.
edit wrong place.
I would actually rather have them work on more hardmode battles/delve 2.0 then on more trust NPCs (dont get me wrunt trust is a nice concept).
Hardmode battles I would like to see:
from Aht urgan:
Gurfurlur the Menacing
Medusa
Gulool Ja Ja
Alexander (no Odin, we got allready enough crappy Odin battles including a 99 version i believe!)
from CoP:
Promathia
Tenzen + 3 Tarutarus
Bahamut
Diabolos
from WotG:
Cant think of a fight that really was burnt into my memory sadly, ecxept for the fights against the spritewardens and spritewardens + yourself
WOTG actually had some cool ideas for fights, you just don't remember them because they were all way easier, I'm guessing they weren't sure how to set the difficulty since the plans changed halfway through WOTG (level cap raise) because at first it seemed like it was balanced to be challenging to 75. People got cockblocked on CoP and a couple of TOAU fights which makes them remember them for being huge time wasters. Off the top of my head there's:
-Spitewardens like you mentioned
-Lilith of course (you could do more interesting things with those wards)
-The Cait Sith/Atomos fight (lame arena though, it was just a generic cave)
-VS Robel-Akbel (other two nations were kinda meh)
Actually DRG is on one of those staffs, Surma Staff is 166 DMG which isn't so bad. Destroys bones and skellies with 5/5 Shattersoul with all the INT stat vomit we have now.
They'll probably make hardmode versions of the Serpent General fight, the Hero/Heroin/Heroinv2 fights(where you fight Volker/Trion/Aijido, Curilla/Shantotto/Ayame, Aphmau/Lion/Prishe/Murmur, inb4 hardmode KS99's(Sacred Kindred Seal 99!) and KS30's. Maybe even ENMs/ISNMs/SCNMs etc..
Quite a few posts from Matsui today. Anything good?
some mention about battlefields.. and how they're taken after old missions.. they'll be adding more rehashed battlefields in January.. whereas Skirmish will be expanded on in Feb.
something else about adjusting acc of drg wyverns and avatars in Jan..
and a bunch of small Eminence notes that i won't even attempt cos its giving me a headache lol..
sorry if not useful
Oh god why skirmish, why?!
pls no weapon upgrades, I just tossed a bunch of my +1's![]()
Armor upgrades this time!
I could see them adding +1 sets of the skirmish sets, I wonder if it will be 117 or 118 >_>;
at the cost of losing the augments and having to throw more stones at the random number game
It'd be worth it if things like Otronif could go from a max of DA+2 to DA+4 and such, I didn't bother with perfect augments on any of my pieces of gear because I played enough with the RNG slot machine back when FoV was released and augmented the shit out of warwolf belts and Cerb mantles.
I thought Skirmish I was okay, and I think Skirmish II wasn't a bad idea in concept, it's just that it's irritating to need to stay the entire duration every time you do it no matter how overgeared you are. What they should've done is made Skirmish II a relentless assault on a tent you have to defend, but if you're overgeared or strategize well, you'll melt through the enemies and are able to launch a counterattack and end the instance early (and maybe get some bonus points).
The gear itself I thought was fine, even the roulette, because unlike the shitty synergy augments they were almost always useful and it wouldn't take too many tries to get at least, say, DA+1, with anything after that just people being in their typical OCD "maximize every piece ever" mentality.
As for the new posts, Spira got the broad strokes down so I'll explain some of the Eminence notes:
-Considering adding a goal tuned towards backline in February since melee get points way faster right now
-Possibly Goal for Courier's Coalition under content
-Considering adding non-combat goals like Synthing and Fishing ones
-Letting you buy multiple books at once in Janurary (thank god, that was really annoying, I don't get why they STILL do this shit after years and years of experience)
-Request for more options of low level gear choices was met with "priorities etc"
-Request for alexandrite to be added to be purchasable was met with barance
