The way I interpreted that was that it will always remove one applicable status, and it's just which one it pick that's random. Shouldn't be hard to test, just takes some status-inducing potions and time. If it ever fails to removes the status, then it's chance to remove. if you get a good sample of it always removing one, then it just which status is removed that's randomized.

So I did a small test on this, just 10 pulses.

But anyway. 10/10 pulses with erilaz+1 removed a status aliment. Interestingly, 9/10 of those removed the most recently applied status.(I had poison and silence up for all pulses.) If there's randomization of chance to remove, the rates are high. Which status got removed didn't seem very random to me either though.

Think y'all are way over thinking the petrification thing. They probably copy-pasted a generalized list of status ailments that can be removed by abilities of this nature. I doubt they intend for anyone to self-cure petrification, and I doubt this was a case of "they don't know how their game works".

We HAVE to take the self removal of petrification as 100% serious and completely intentional!
Otherwise we're being bad "internet denizens" (read: Trolls)!

(though in all seriousness, you're probably right. Those are all the enfeebles removed via esuna right? If I'm remembering correctly... they probably just made it a single-target esuna coded effect.)

Esuna can't remove petrify or silence either for similar reasons... according to other wiki wont get curse/bane without afflatus misery not sure how accurate that is. I'd assume bane is the same since it's basically just super curse. Not sure about doom haven't tried. And nothing removes mute

Esuna can't remove petrify or silence either for similar reasons... according to other wiki wont get curse/bane without afflatus misery not sure how accurate that is. I'd assume bane is the same since it's basically just super curse. Not sure about doom haven't tried. And nothing removes mute

L0L not from yourself! Esuna is AoE! If someone is next to you it totes removes petrification from them right? It's been so long since I've used Esuna... Though I'm not sure if I've ever used it without sacrifice.

It's the first week in May, which means that it's Golden Week in Japan!
The whole country shuts down for this! (Not really but Japan loves it's holidays... ESPECIALLY Christmas.)

I kinda expect the same login campaign for May.
Maybe slightly altered.
But given that April is not the anniversary month, I think it's weird we got savory shanks last time. (I'm not complaining.)
But they could have just given us them that month because of the lack of an update...
But I feel that the extreme size of May's updates makes up for that... But then I'm excited about more babies and a new house to decorate... I realize I'm an extreme minority there.
They might have something on Friday.... If only for the login campaign... But... Who knows.
