I'm quite pleased with this change. It takes what is currently an utterly useless ability and makes it a little bit of a DoT buff for the 60 second duration. Nothing game breaking, but a nice little MNK enhancement.
As for the PUP Repair/Oil changes, I braved the official forums for the first time in years to beg for a change to Oil stack sizes too. There's no good reason it should be at 12, let me carry 99 around. Otherwise, nice addition - I'm even considering dropping automaton ranged skill merits in favor of repair recast 5/5 (6 sec per merit, which would put Repair down to only 60 second recast after the base change from 3:00 to 1:30).
Confident after the change they're gonna reduce the value of the reduction from merits for Repair recast.
About Footwork I'm wondering what's gonna happen to the other things the JA used to do (add base +damage to the Kick attacks, add some att%, more additional att% with Tantra Feet, etc).
Trusts in Delve/Nocurrsion lol, DIS GON B GUD
Yeah I think the only thing that is going to change is that people who lowman delve with mules will probably just split up and lowman delve with mules + trusts. Maybe doubling the low supply, but nothing crazy.
Average Joe still won't be able to do fuck all without a full party.
Depends on the zone and such. Some are fairly easy to do with a couple bst up as is so having say just a tank could make a difference
Based off the noob linkshell I have as my #2 for whatever reason, I don't think you guys fully understand how stupid the general population really is.
The trusts will most likely die when you fight the boss though. Sure they all survive in WKR versions (Except when Tchakka Mayhems lol)...but those are watered down charmin soft versions, and I believe you can freely resummon them in WKR regardless of enmity.
The Geo ones may prove useful though. Brygid for a minor def bonus and magic def bonus, Kuyin for the acc bonus, then can either put up a tank or DD trust (since you still need 3 people to enter regardless). I wouldnt do either bard Trust since theyre stupid and will give you paeons or ballads.
I think this is just a necessary set up for down the road when the game is so dead its hard to even get a 6 man delve group together consistently.
Ergon Weapons need a few million plasm, and being able to go in and solo it will be important so Ergon Weapons are still kind of obtainable... kind of.
Well alex is still 30k
They may have let u do salvage 24 times per day if you were so inclined, the grind is still the same.
You still have to do ~300 salvage runs to finish your weapon (and its probably 350 with SS offering less singles than Arra). Just because you can do it in 30 days instead of 300 doesnt mean the manhour requirement has changed.
It can be used for people new to Delve to get the hang of the NMs.
120? ~75 linen, 29 triples (12 on each side of 3f, 2 for 4f nm, 3 for cerb, do the 3 ramparts drop one too?), i guess youre including potential cottons and NQ linens?
My numbers above were strictly the HQ Linen (75) and 26 in singles...which is still 300 runs, though sometimes the game just fucks you over (necrobane -> unresisted Thunder V with weather proc -> dead). I dont bother with NM's in SS and I didnt factor in the NQ linen, which is a myth.
Yeah, I'm including the possibility of getting an extra linen (~10% chance) and cottons when estimating that average. The ramparts do all drop a single.
In terms of NMs, I'm including the first floor moblin and dahak and the fourth floor gears and acroliths. I also kill those other non-100% drop gears on the 3rd floor.
If you manage to do the "link" process right for SSR, I think that zone has the highest potential of Alex among all zones. Not including the chances to get cotton from all those nms/robots.
It's just less efficient than other zones, requires too much time, no ranged until upper floors, and the Dvergr NM can be pretty mean, unless you go with a pet job, then you can laugh at it.
In my experience it's not "time efficient" compared to Arra and probably Bhaf too.
