Wrong, Dasva. The only thing stronger is PUP. Obviously.
THAT's the job that needs the nerf bat.
;p
To be fair, one is the Mythic... And the other two are for Carbuncle and Cait Sith only... Who are Avatars that are basically 2~3 levels lower than everyone else in terms of everything...
And I have to agree that making them use Trust average iLv wouldn't be good.
While BST and DRG have the best of iLv pet mechanics (as in they just need a 119 weapon... Of which there are many. As opposed to a single item drop that basically only has "your pet is 119 now". Though at least SMN gets -5BPtimer now... I think Divinator still does nothing but 119 automatons.); even being able to swap out weapons and maintain that level (so long as it's 119>>>119).
The loss of spur being broke was enough to bring BST in line with everyone else. (SE's bit about white damage being greater by players is absurd. Because poking things to death is what ALL jobs do. Smh)
I think the self-SC ban could be problematic for SMN and PUP, if it expands to them. And is unneeded for BST.
I don't think any other jobs should worry since it sounded like only a BST/pet thing... Especially because that would make Sekkanoki do nothing and we all know they wouldn't do that to SAM.
If any further adjustments should be made to BST now, it should be giving Aymur (the BST Mythic) a +2Lv term like Nrivana.
It already has to be main-handed to work at all, so having an "effective iLv" of 121 wouldn't be out of line.
(The problem on SE's end is not getting how the job is played at the moment. It's basically using "stat stick" axes and dropping the whole master-and-pet dynamic that SE is playing with it. A sort of reverse PUP situation from back when PUP was new. Which is what makes Aymur less than optimal, because AM3 only really works so long as you're not resetting your TP every 10s.)
I think gimping BST into full 119 all the time would be too much of a nerf. (Not that the ragtag drivel don't already ignore all non119 gear... But that's what makes them "the bandwagon" isn't it?)
The self-sc ban shouldn't do much to smn or pup anyways since single avatars and autos generally aren't self skillchaining anyways. My guess is they will only even really hit lizard and mandy. Lizard because self fusion into MB is pretty good and mandy due to infinite skillchain letting you pop plouton/perfiden without SEs favorite job. Nothing else was really done much except lvl 3 stuff with unleash which 1hr so meh
What's up with that QD question, we've known that since forever..
Did we always know that it could stack multiple times on a low level debuff like that? I actually thought you could only upgrade once so you still needed the Red Mage around if you wanted the Dia IV effect etc.
Also newer players maybe.
Yeah, we already knew you could stack it multiple times on a low level debuff. The only reason to use Dia III is to save your COR a charge and (only at 5/5) because it lasts longer than Dia II.
Or if you don't have a COR.
Since we're talking about and given my ignorance on how Corsair works. Can COR have different Quick Draw effects active on the same target at the same time?
Like can COR empower Dia with Light Shot, then empower Poison with Water Shot and still retain the previous empowerment to Dia, and so on?
They gave us a "cap" for Dia, it's safe to assume there are similar caps for all elements and for all debuffs. Wonder if these caps differ from spell to spell, or if it works the same and it's a cap of "potency 4" for each element.
Anybody ever performed tests about this in the past?
I kinda forgot COR could even empower debuffs since level 75... this opens up new interesting alliance setup scenarios to me.
They probably can, but they likely cannot give the COR boot effect for more than one element at the same time.
Did we ever test dia 1 though? Or know about other debuffs being double or more boosted? Pretty interesting sadly not sure how much it will see play... it's hard enough getting any cors to coordinate anything
I am going to rage so hard if they make it easy to obtain that platemail. It took us 160 runs to get 2 of the damn things.
Yay glad I didn't spam it, probably gonna be like that for all content here out lol.
Yay, they might add a system that should have always been there in Vagary from the start yaaaaay.
So I know its older now, but did anyone notice that the adoulin dial doesnt give out dusk stones? Atleast I have yet to get any over 10 chars.
I don't think they updated it from the November(?) Adoulin Dial.
RIP crafting:
