I see what you did there.
lol that would depend on how hard they nerfed the droprate!
If the creation dates on Hasso/DB pages on the other wiki are anything to go by, Desperate Blows was added a few months after ToAU/PUP was added, and Hasso a few months after that.
Going by update notes Job specific merits were added in July 2006, hasso that October. ToAU came out in April not sure if OD actually gave haste originally though
Not sure on the amount but pretty confident it did. (edit: Pet Haste in Overdrive)
On the Escha bodies: are they even that awesome? I mean take Tartarus Platemail, it's quite an impressive and outstanding DT piece. The Escha bodies, while not shit, never particularly impressed me.
Did I miss something? Should I go take another look? >.>'
They're not wtfamazing like Tartarus Platemail, but all of them (except for maybe the Harness) have uses.
Annointed Kalasiris isn't a very good piece for the wearer, but the sphere effect is like the Atmacite of Provenance, which could be useful if you find yourself facing a wipe.
Similarly, Makora Meikogai has the only sphere effect that benefits melees when they're not engaged; wear it when running between mobs in skirmish or when waiting for a BCNM.
The Kubira Meikogai is like a Tartarus Platemail -1, with 10 PDT and 25 accuracy on it. It's just a very good PDT piece for those that don't have the Platemail (aka, 99.9% of the playerbase).
Yes Fwahm, but with the drop rates on these bodies it does't seem like 99,9% of the player base will have the Meikogai either ;'D
Drop rates seem to be similar to the Platemail, from what I can tell (maybe 1%ish), and the T3s are easier to spam, so more players should get them than the Platemail, at least.
That would require people to do escha. I'd be shocked if 10% of asura is actively doing escha content (there are rarely more than 30 ppl in zone).
10% is probably more than are doing Plouton.
I almost never see anyone doing nms in there... usually a ton of people but they all seem to be using for cp farming. Or perhaps just building up slit for when escha might become popular?
The gear isn't hard to get so they probably have what they want or they are too scared to try it. They are easy to low man so not sure why they are scared though.
You might be confusing "Scared" with "giving a crap" about most of the gear that drops in Escha. Not saying it awful or anything but I lack motivation to grind silt, especially when the double exp campaign isn't going on, and then find 2+ other people that also care about doing the same NMs.
Yeah I'm pretty sure every job has at least 1 if not 2 pieces minimum from Escha that are unequivocally best for whatever.
