But as /rdm all I can do is sneak/invis pt members who couldnt be bothered to bring oils, toss around cure IVs (generally unneccessary in pet parties) and convert + refresh myself. However with my massive amount of refresh idle gear this is mediocre and I pretty much never have to convert, so I either idle in pet dps gear and convert or...
Swap to /blm or /sch for nukes/enfeebles, but tbh the damage I contribute from that is mediocre, and for unity, escha, and delve the dmg from my nukes is mediocre at best and interferes with pet dps, also it means hauling along two more entire gearswaps for casting....
Which brings me to /cor for bst roll, which isnt terribad as I can also throw out other rolls too, and that helps other pt members out way more than any other subjob would.
The other option is /geo, which is a nice halfway point Ive been messing around with. Geo's spells can't be resisted, and I can contribute to the entire alliance if its an alliance run.
Ive been trying to find the best sub, but for now I go /rdm and help keep the bsts alive since they cant cure themselves.

Abyssea: does that mean SE will extend the 120 min cap? Increasing the base value of each stone is kinda useless considering everyones probably capped on stones, and once you're in for 120, you can probably stay in indefinitely with TE chests as long as you're killing stuff reasonably often.

Voidwatch: not quite what was expected, but if fume is reduced to 1 min cooldown, that gives ~25 chances to hit white, or atleast cycle through crappy red's. I say 25 cause you still have to stumble upon the white/red hint.
They would fix the shit VNM change rate in abyssea after I'm done with Ochain. Whatever, screw abyssea anymore. Glad to know they're going to keep empyreans nigh impossible to 99 for anyone sane. Meanwhile people can build infinite mythics if they're really that bored. Wasn't expecting anything great but those changes just sound so meh compared to the first round. Guess there's still the chance of CAP+90% if we're really really really lucky.
I mean, it's good changes and it's not like they're gonna make the game any worse. Kinda uh, I dunno, pointless maybe?
Wish they would focus on more serious stuff, but maybe that will happen with the second bunch of RoV KIs.

What about the 5th Trust? We know for sure that's coming, and from datamining (from the previous RoV patch) we know they were going to add Trusts into Abyssea.
Yet there is no mention of that.

Unless it's gonna be something not bound to RoV KIs but that would seem very strange to me, to say the least.

They didn't allow you to get Alex or Dyna currency from the moogle, did they?
They just allowed you to do that content more often, hence farming faster, but you'd still require to farm.
I think they want to do the same in VW. Make VW easier, make it drop HMPs more often maybe (hah! As if...), but still force you to do the content.
Altough it's a bit strange to have a comparison. In Dyna/Salvo you were locked out by daily gatings (and AP for Salvage, so Assault tags too), here you have Voidstones but they're a much more lax gating compared to the previous mentioned ones, unless you're a new player I guess.
So... yeah, I dunno. Wish they could do something more for HMPs, but making them buyable from NPC would honestly be too much.

They could potentially build it into a larger system. For example, they mentioned having some sort of trade-in for EX gear. Plenty of that from VW or other post-75 content that hasn't been updated. Maybe turn that into being able to trade in gear for points to buy any Empyrean path items (boss items, colorless souls, etc) along with HMP - and probably other stuff too. Turn obsolete drops into potential projects or gil.
Or roll it into the Sparks system, as that's an inflation problem as it is now anyway. Give people better items to buy and sell to other players, versus creating gil.
So they're making it easier to enter a zone which is nigh impossible to enter due to congestion through reducing the timer on entry items. Excellent!
