Can the game tell the difference between a +2 box from 20 versus 60? I didn't think so.

No idea... I could see it being possible. So little people reported during these events so hard to really put stuff together plus no one really reported by level. Maybe just better droprates at higher floors? With a 10 min limit you could end up waiting if only going to 20 so 40 seems like a good shot if there is a chance it's better

I'd take combining Artifact/Relic/Empyrean armor over fumbling with multiple jobs and weapon types, possibly hurting one job while a core weapon is out of commission (if lost on upgrade). But I'm also one of those weirdos that's less enthused about gear swapping and more wanting good overall gear for a class and its expected roles.

Last Rapsodies update they didn't release it till the version update notes were up so expect it then. You know, when it's useless.

Is there a need to do different weapon types? Like yeah it might leave some weapons out of it (heck no bows at all) but I think every each jobs mythic has a relic and empyrean of the same weapon type no? Well of the jobs that get mythics and actually get any relics... poor aht urghan/wotg jobs

You should be so lucky! I couldn't even cobble together the fucking materials for a single synth of either Cursed Pumps or Hexed Boots! As soon as they popped up on Shiva's AH, they were gone within a matter of minutes.

Yeah, I have some augmented abjuration gear from sky that I haven't used in ages. Also, I wonder if there will be 119 versions of the old sky god drops? Kirin's Osode, Byakko's Haidate, etc. etc.

pfft, you've got enough scratch to buy a cheap PC on the fly. It doesn't take much to run a couple of instances of FFXI
