    Or how about they revisit evolith system... with the ability to etch anything and to turn any ra/ex ilvl gear into an evolith with 1 of the random stats from that gear so you can put it on another... that way you can combine multiple pieces of gear but it requires refarming certain ones multiple times bwhwhahahhaha

    Pretty awesome that the set bonuses go from 2 to 5 pieces equipped. Also nice of them to tell us the values straight away, which saves testing!
    And that makes Kaykaus, before augments, 64% cure potency? Very nice! (Assuming you cap CP1 with accessories / weapon)

    Except they just listed the Rao set as "martial arts"

    But the gear says "augments martial arts"

    :/

    Nope, I pointed it out on my thread on official forums, a dev responded saying that they wrote it wrong, and that it should definitly be "Augments Martial Arts"

    So its not Martial Arts+20, its something else +20 while using HTH weapons... or something? I don't even understand what this means now...

    It could still be. SE does have a habit of mixing the 2 up.

    Seems more likely than being the only weird set bonus and on top of that not really telling us what it does while telling us amounts and such

    Im not sure what to expect. Its so oddly worded and the devs have been avoiding saying what "augments martial arts" is, but they definitly made a point of correcting "martial arts+" to "Augments martial arts" in their posts, and agreed it should say augments so...

    Its designed for Pup and Mnk mostly, what do you propose "augments" would do? I'm expecting either crit rate, subtle blow, or some other boost when using HTH.

    "Augments Dual Wield" for NIN adds an occasional extra attack for one hand. It's possible they could do a similar effect for martial arts.

    Thats quite possible. +20% extra attack rate then, eh?

    I think the possibilities are:

    +20 extra attack rate
    +20 crit rate
    +20 subtle blow
    +20 martial arts (and SE just has no idea how the hell to label their gear)

    So I finally read the freshly picked... nice to see they still care more about how they envision a job than what it is actually capable of doing.

    Namely the whole we don't feel bst is taking enough risk for dmg so should move them closer... but at the same time that is totally fine for smn because it's a backline job... in fact we are going to increase the distance they can be <.<. Can't wait till people switch to smn (well the ones that haven't already) and do just as well maybe better spamming bps and the hoopla that will follow

    Interestingly enough I was actually going to retest a lot soon anyways since testing I had seen never seemed to take into account innate bonuses of frames (or if it did no one mentioned it) plus most the new stuff has had little testing. Wonder what has increased

    Being moved closer on BST is going to be super annoying, but yes I agree that SMN (except for that brief unintended nerf) is and has been incredibly powerful. Easily the next bandwagon job.

    Some of the new T3 fights have me super tempted to gear it because (specifically morta) is not a good fight for BST. Opting for SCH instead though.

    As a SMN, I think the distance is fine. I'd much much much rather see Trusts auto-attacking what my avatar attacks instead of having to melee.

    Same really claiming the mob should be enough to get your trusts to attack

    So I thought I had the brightest idea to cancel my sub during the free login campaign (it ended on the 15th), since you know, you don't have to pay during it! Now attempting to log into POL gives me the "No content ID found" nonsense and I'm annoyed at myself -.-

    Any idea why people are stuck on sandy mission 9-1? Is it doing things in the wrong order or is it not completable for anyone who tries it now?
