im personally a bit sick of the log in campaign thing. Admittedly it does work to get people to log in daily, enough for some to start playing more and all, but is more chore than enjoyable. I didn't like that they put exclusives behind login points.. but thats just me.
I'd say the problem with the login campaign is that it is asynchronous with the flavor content of the month/update. in other words, whatever that is new and exciting to do in game cannot be done just by logging in. The AA battles in particular require merit points (which are still a bit high imo) which, while relatively easy to obtain, isn't new and more many, isn't fun. you can't jump into the new content straight away - this can be alleviated if you could stockpile for it.. like say gather seals for orbs that you can exchange. With merits points you can only hold the KI + 1.5x worth of it in merit points. I'd say 5 merit points per KI is more reasonable, and with Kam'lanaut coming up, maybe 10 for the newer one.
as for SoA.. i can't believe how fast time flies. its almost 1 year into SoA... and i think its pretty decent as far as expansions run - better than WotG imo. They thought through a tiered release of battle content much better this time than ever before.. (even tho there are some kinks). At this point people know to expect more Skirmish and more Delve - and actually look forward to it (the latter). but what else is there that we don't know of ?
