I think it means a place to store those items u cant move off your character. and it will use points like the currency we use to utilize waypoints. in that its a unique currency for just that purpose. It would be awesome if we could store magian stuffs. but it is technically an auged item which they have typically not allowed (relic +2 and reforged being the only things I know of.) I dont really see why they couldnt store items with static augs. aka they arent random and if u stored it they just need to note the path and rank ur on. even if it erased points u had at the current rank or just allowed fully auged items to be stored id be happy.

Why do they say it's difficult to implement a system where you say the amount of items you wish to retrieve...you can do that with the campaign moogle too..

I hated it when i read they couldnt make chapters bought by sparks purchasable in amounts larger than 1 but made a bunch of other shit purchasable that way. If i remember it was more they thought we would make too many mistakes if we could buy more than 1. i say i might accidently buy the wrong one more often havign to go in and out of that menu a few times.

Just do the BCNM 2-3 times and turn the sparks into gil. Chances are if you cant do SKC20 on N, you probably dont have the means to generate good gil/hr either

Lpt right there, seriously. This is one of the first things I tell people who return to the game, to use sparks for gil, lol. tons of people willing to help with bcnms if you are polite and respectful about asking.

Gil isnt everything. Chp 1-5 are 7,500 and 6-10 are 15,000. I use sparks for chapters as an inactive way to gain chapters while I do other things. I spend the sparks when I am almost capped at 50k. I dont have a bajillion gil but im not worried about that either.

Can solo the BCs for Ch 1-5 on normal with trusts on THF. I'd imagine most jobs can do that.

I agree gil isnt everything...whats the point of having gil if theres zero supply to use it on. But on the same token, why spend "750k" on 10 ch.1-10 when you can get those chapters in 30-40 min doing SKC20?

Just because gil isnt everything doesnt mean you should pay extra when you dont have to.

Would never spend sparks on 1-5, just seems like a waste imo. Gil is pretty much everything though... why wouldn't it be? You can buy any win you want or piece of gear for the right price so yeah.

yeah, the point is that you can easily obtain chapters 1-10 doing N bcnms/high tier battlefields. any player can do this, and the good players can do them on D-VD solo/multibox, for all chapters.there is actually additional gil/capacity points/drops you can get doing these as well.

Who cares what people spend sparks on? Everyone npcing sparks weapons etc just adds to the gil inflation lowering the value of gil over all. You can also argue that you can make a lot more gil doing almost anything else than those BCNMs for ch 1-5 than spending sparks would "cost" you gil. This also assumes you didn't convert SKC on one of the last 3 BCNM events for something more useful. But whatever, I haven't needed chapters in a while now so I don't convert sparks for them either.

Yeah I burned up several thousand seals doing KCNMs myself... sadly most of them were on the abj ones and only the last few were on NoN.

Maybe I dont have time or the desire to do bcnms right now. and Im not spending gil on anything. the chapters are free with sparks.

Id be less worried about people gettin chapters with sparks than I would be about people using their login points on absolutely stupid ass shit. A guy I know has like 16 mules and he spent the entirety of his points on dwarf pugils. And then spent the next week in quicksands cave fishin cave cherax and jsut npcing those fish. This guy also npcs matsya instead of AHing or tryin to get a shawl for himself. He's stubborn as fuck and doesnt listen. That concerns me more than what people spend sparks and accolades on.

Like i said i inactively gain sparks and spend on chapters. I dont specifically go out and farm sparks for the purpose. For example during this month I was constantly out exping for CPs. my sparks filled up fast and I just made a brief stop at the sparks guy to buy some chapters. I also find the process of npcing a bunch of items tedious as hell as well as pickin an item out of a huge multi page list to buy with sparks (One of the reasons I dont ever harvest anything in mog garden anymore). If i need gils I will do dynamis or something.

In the end it doesnt really affect you what other people spend sparks on.

Almost everytime I cap out on sparks Im in the middle of the run and dont have time to npc a bunch of weapons.

I do however have enough time to buy a chapter or two and toss it in my mog sack.

Would be hilarious if ilvl Ridills also had a ridic drop rate as well. Wonder if they will also be adding Behemoths and Turtles as well. new d rings and black belts. Man if they added easy to get new drings that prolly piss them people off that went 1/983405787 on gettin the original.

Ffxidb has the Ridill drop rate at 2.3%. That is honestly on par with Unity gear drops, so I'd be fine with that.
