ilvl ridill that BLU can wear pls. I mean, it is a scimitar after all
Matsui is gonna troll everyone and make ilvl andarvaunts and hrotti
no items that were upgraded to ilvl versions had jobs changed. Sirocco -> Jugo is still THF only. Healing staff -> Ababinili is still WHM only. Carby->Asteria Mitta = SMN only. If youre really expecting Ridill to have BLU added, dont hold your breath.
Ilevel zenith set changed job list.
Ternion dagger got dnc added.
Can't think of many other exceptions though, so nynja's point still stands.
I would leave pre-SOA stuff behind.
And honestly we should leave Abj sets behind as well.
If we want to talk about UNM drops exclusively, the only item that had job list changed that I Can think of is Ternion Dagger, and it happened AFTER release because people complained, and several months after actually.
So... Nynja does have a point, it's *possible* but highly unlikely that ilevel Ridill would get a different job list on it.
Still, men can dream, men can hope! :D
New Aloha Iroha
Took them 4 updates to make a breast size joke. Stay classy, Japan.
Will Iroha's obsession with rice balls in the manga make it into the game at some point?
Haha that dev post. We change maneuver ja delay on pup because using 3 maneuvers every 1-5 minutes is a major portion of the pups function we don't want to change ready because even though it's used much more often we don't believe it's a major function of the job. Seriously guys wut
They probably forgot they even did the 5 minute maneuver buff.
Maybe it is new... and was exactly what the job needed (though would've been better without that silly increases as engaged time increases stipulation). But even without it every 20 seconds vs 10-30 depending ready used.
Or to functionality... for bst without ready the jug does nothing be auto attack completely killing pretty much it's entire function while autos still do their thing but maneuvers help give more controllability over what they do/enhance their abilities and or stats.
Almost seems like they are comparing it to bst back when bsts meleed and never used ready because it was a dps loss
Just so we're on the same page here, do you actually believe that BST needs help?
A lot of that was the logic seems faulty. Maneuvering isn't a bigger part of the job than ready is... heck that wasn't even the issue it was doing it while meleeing on master.
As far as need help in this department it depends. Right now no it's fine after all the main reason it mattered to pup (and used to for bst) was the whole dps loss created by using maneuvers so much while meleeing and bst currently isn't meleeing so the ja delay means very little and such a change wouldn't really do much outside of some solos
But they do seem to want to be pushing for us melee or at least in close enough range where if you are going to have to risk getting hit with AoEs and the corresponding dmg decrease in order to ensure survival you might as well melee to offset that then it would be the same boat pup was in. In that case then yes it should be changed for the same reasons
tl;dr the reason ready doesn't need ja delay removed isn't because it isn't a major part of the job but because as far as delays and such go it is the job... so there is basically nothing for it to interfere with.
lol
I'm pretty sure "we have seen many videos of BST's soloing VD battlefields, fuck off for any adjustments that make you stronger" is not a response SE can offer to the community.
yeah yeah, I know, "it costed me millions and millions of gil to get perfect augs", I dont see Tachi soloing VD fights on SMN.
I wish dnc had no JA delay, steps seem pretty vital to its functioning but i believe they said no to that a while ago. What SE wants is us to constantly to be changing our current maneuvers. I mean they want you to pop on 3 water maneuvers so you can resist status ailments. I pretty much stay to the same 3 maneuvers, occasionally throwing on a light or dark depending on if i need regen/refresh, but they must think people change maneuvers alot. Am I the only one who just sticks to 3 maneuvers (I am new to pup)?
