DRK can drain that much with all the gear out now eh? That is pretty cool.

Ya I guess I just miss needing good WHMs or having to press a timely -DT/hybrid set when you saw a mob's red spikes or strategizing to bring DRG with angon, DRK with random stuns, Tomahawk, Steps.
Just gotta adapt to the new meta game which is probably more friendly with the current population. It's just not the game I remember is all, with fights lasting 2 mins with 4-5 people who can play fairly lazily. I'll still probably play til January to get the full experience of this game's "end".
I've got near optimal drain gear (I'm only missing the ring from the Escha Vampyr), and Nether Void Drain III usually does about 4000 on mobs with neutral MDT/dark SDT. If you swap to chatoyant staff for it (which might become worthwhile sometimes with the new 3 minute duration), that goes to ~4600; dark weather from a scholar or otherwise will bring it up to ~5500, and can nearly hit 6000 with double dark weather/voidstorm II. It's pretty fun.
That's actually kind of ridiculous. I love it
Breaths no longer consume TP? With Ryunohige's AM3, Spirit Link just became a new and instant Meditate with a 90sec recast. Now that Hasso can be passed to the Wyvern, DRG just got a significant boost to DPS via wyvern damage and an extra WS every 90 sec (also HB got ANOTHER potency buff? Geez...with full breath gear, it's already a 2k heal)

Ya, it's nice to see drg getting something good for once. I usually am a little heavy on healers when solo'ing on drg so I don't have to healing breath unless I get like 3+ mobs on me so I could use my wyvern as a TP battery. Now I won't have to worry but sometimes it would get wasted on a remove breath which was always annoying. The spirit link change is nice too. That JP was my #1 priority because I didn't want to get myself killed trying to keep firewing alive in a AoE heavy situation.
The new chairs + crate lol.

God, even when Zeid's not in the manga, he still get insulted!
Aloha Iroha latest
Was reading that Matsui post about "Land of the Blind" Quest but I can't seem to locate the previous quests under that name...
Prishe is the best.
:-/
I dislike being correct.
Bluh. That's only the "zone bosses," right? (Cruel Joke - Balamor, Cesspool - Rancibus, Tearing Gust - that gargouile one)
Probably will have a Perfidien and Plouton spell eventually too...
Then again, this is more ammo for them "nerfing" Vagary in Nov. (or sooner... Possibly after. Their post Nov rhetoric *could* allow for such a thing... But I'm uncertain how "tight" they are with that.)
I'm not sure balamar uses cruel joke in the missions, definitely does in skirmish thou.
Least they're almost guaranteed to be useless, so you don't have to feel too bad for not having them!
The vag ones might be good dmg but that's probably about it. Tearing Gust will probably give more mdb than like say benthic but probably not more than the jug moves and certainly not as good as geo. SE doesn't seem to approve of hp down anymore so there goes cesspool. What was cruel joke again? Mighty guard will probably still be a small self heal and maybe like 10 regain
Tearing gust will be decent as long as the debuff is stronger than the -10 on acrid stream.
The mission version of cesspool is just damage (water?) and plague, max hp down was a different move, not sure about the vagary version. Cruel joke is doom.
I wouldn't be surprised if mighty guard was completely different than the mob version
I think Mighty Guard will either be something like Diamond Hide, or an AoE Barrier Tusk.
