Pops can be a problem - at least on asura. Some of the warder NMs are heavily camped and convincing a soloist to let your alliance in for the ki but no items can be hard. We've watched solo PLDs chip away at warder of faith for a good 30 min while 16 of us in the zone could have downed it very quickly. Even though our group split up and spread out we spent a good 5 hours getting all 10 of the ki mostly because of soloists who didn't trust us to not ninja their torque. I doubt it will be a problem forever - eventually ppl will get the drops that they want but in the meanwhile watching someone struggle to kill a warder for more than 5 minutes is very annoying if you're actively farming ki.
yeah that's hardly a new phenomenon though. In fact it's par for the course in this game's history - sky farming PT/ally watching RMT kiting ulli forever, tri box watching full ally fight melo melo for an hour, falling asleep while kings/tiamat goes down
oh wait, shoe's on the other foot now, nvm!
Sure it's not new... it's really really old as in stuff the game has transition away from years ago because it's ewww
I like the new warder system, in a way. It combines merit recharging, CP farming, silt farming and gear acquisition into one activity. I'd probably need to farm silt each time I wanted to kill an escha NM if not for torque farming making it fairly efficient as an overall activity.
They should just add a 10 minute gradual rage or 15 min forced depop on lotto warders.
Theyre not exactly "CP Farming" perks since if you dont have a THF, youre probably not getting shit, and if your thf is capped CP, youre kinda wasting those points that youd probably want to get on another job.
That's remove most jobs from being able to solo Fortitude in time, and makes Love harder to lowman. I wouldn't like that change.
I'd rather they add multiple spawns based on the location, like the left/right sections of islands having their own pops independent of each other.
No announcement from the devs since september update. what's going on here?. they've abandoned us!
I'm pretty sure they aren't going to skip their 2nd to last update opportunity.
There isn't suppose to be an update in OCT iirc. Next and last major update is NOV.
That isn't the problem they're talking about fixing. People are whining that warder pops are killing them while they're trying to farm CP/slit, and SE's solution is apparently an optional KI that blocks warders from popping. The lotto isn't going anywhere.
With zone bonus + belt everyone is already at TH2. Can also just farm CP/warders /thf if you want more TH. That said TH isn't as important for torques as it seems, since they share a drop slot with other gears.
It's not, they're only fixing the "NMs popping and disturbing your silt/xp/cp/vorseals farming pts". It's not what I personally consider "enough", but it's better than nothing for sure, so I don't feel like complaining, I welcome this new possibility with open arms.
I thought we were still getting content updates till March.
EDIT: NVM, I guess it's only QoL adjustments and balancing through March.
Unlikely.
The new Halloween items are already added.
And the Halloween event starts shortly after Buffaloes, which ends on the 8th.
Plus there's the shitton of Trusts they already added... Way more than login campaigns alone can suffice. (New Years trust event probably. It'd be weird to have a trust event now so close to the two yearly ones. Summer+New Years.)
AND given the fact that both months prior to RoV additions didn't have updates...
No October looks like what is.
Well part of the reason for why the months prior to the last RoVs didn't have updates might have been because the update prior to them was in the last week of the month and looking back at the updates so far this year have all been in 5-6 week intervals except 1 being 7 so anytime an update happened at the end of a month naturally caused next month to "skip". Going by that the next update should happen anytime from the week of the 20th of this month to the very beginning of November though all the ones that happened in the middle of the month were followed by an update at the end of the next month so that seems most likely
